Our dinner was great. My husband and I loved our steak and duck breast. My MIL wasn't blown away with the chicken.

Exquisite dining in an ordinary looking (from the outside) low roofed adobe style house in Santa Fe. We were heartily welcomed by AJ the bartender- who was pleasant and since it was a slow night in February allowed us to choose the location of the table we wanted to dine in. Tucked in the well lit corner we got comfortable in the booth and we were immediately greeted by Angel, who made sure our water glasses never went dry, and was attentive to plate delivery and removal all night. A.J. shared with us his specialty drink, which was delicious, but I don’t remember the name and Emilio was our server that saw to our every dining need. Every course was served elegantly plated beautifully, and was picture worthy. Jennifer, The owner/hostess was a delight to chat with. It was a delightful evening at Restaurant Martin and comes highly recommended. I look forward to returning!

I was so excited to eat here for Christmas Eve and it fell below my expectations. The food was good, but I think overpriced for what it was. Yes, everything was cooked perfectly and looked great, but just lacked creativity. I needed something to impress me. I mean every dish had the same components, protein, a veggie, a veggie puree and crumble of some sort. I think it just missed the mark for being what $150 per person courses dinner should be. As for our waitress, she was not very attentive. When we sat down, we were given our menus without explanation of how dinner would proceed and after a few minutes she just asked what we wanted. She didn’t let us know about the Christmas cocktail. We also weren’t asked if we were okay with our steak med-rare like other guests were. And to add a 20% automatic tip at the end of service ($65) when zero effort was made by our server, was unfair to the customers. It was clear she knew she got the tip regardless and chose to provide no customer service for it. Very undeserved.

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious, innovative and presented beautifully
We came in for New Year's Eve... We had a nice table out in the indoor patio area... Felt a little bit less special in terms of ambience than being inside the restaurant, but it was quiet. The food was well executed, arrived hot. Price seems a little high for what it is when comparing to restaurants like Geronimo. But overall, would return again.
After dining here several years ago, I determine to return to Restaurant Martin my next stay in Santa Fe. I was not disappointed. This chef provides a culinary experience. We ordered the lamb and fish entrees and delighted in our own desserts. No sharing here! Our waiter was knowledgeable, very professional, and gave excellent service. If you are a foodie, you don't want to miss this address.
We were in the event room separate from the main dining room and bar. It was a bit lacking as there only a few other parties, and it naturally caused delays. I understand the natural challenges with our party size. We did have an issue with our wine selection. Even though it was early, our waitress knew the first was unavailable from the previous business day. We made a second choice, but the waitress later returned with news that it also was out. The third option she offered was a similar price point but was lighter than we prefer, but we just accepted it so we could move on with our dinner. I really think they should ensure the wine list is current at opening to avoid such missteps.
A wonderful experience all around. Beautiful setting and spacious seating. Food was nicely presented with appropriate portions. We would go again.

Overall a good fine dining experience but I would expect the cuisine to be more innovative and special with 150+ per person.

I had a wonderful meal with the Bourbon Vanilla Crème Caramel desert being the highlight. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the wines, and service was truly great.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been in many years. Everything was presented beautifully and everything was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this for a great dinner or a nice celebration. That's coming from me East Coast person.
