Love this place! We were tourists on a budget. Our first meal in Santa Fe was there. Chile and carnitas bowl with warm corn tortillas, $9. My husband had something for $12 that he really liked. Santa Fe Bees is a busy, neighborhood, counter service restaurant near downtown Santa Fe. The place was really, pardon the pun, buzzing. We took a menu out to a table on the enclosed porch, quiet (68 dB) and insulated from the traffic noise. In spite of the rush, our orders were quickly taken and we had our Mexican Coke, Chocolate Shake and a complimentary basket of chips and salsa immediately. We special ordered a Fish Taco Plate...

Awesome place for authentic New Mexican food at a reasonable price. They greeted us at the door with a warm smile, gave us local dish recommendations and refilled our chips multiple times. The blue flautas and green chile stew were delicious! Highly recommended!
