Fantastic place! Very relaxed, very Santa Fe, and the food is FABULOUS. Isabel, the owner, will happily explain anything on the menu you’re not familiar with. And it’s impossible to get a meal here that is less than 5 stars.

Wonderful street food served in a very casual environment. The owner is very helpful and friendly we asked her to choose our selections. The sampler plate was perfect for 2. Very near the Georgia O'Keeffe museum. Make a day of it!

OMG ... one of the best "off the beaten path" places to eat in Santa Fe. If you need a break from the "New Mexican" cuisine, or just want to broaden your horizons with FANTASTIC fare, stop by Santarepa Cafe. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, 2:00pm"ish" and the place was not busy. The owner walked us through the menu, and we decided to have the Sampler Plate of arapas (the smaller version known as "arapasitas"). We tried the shredded chicken, shredded beef, ham and cheese, chicken salad and gouda, and the BLT. All were fantastic, but the BLT stole the show! The dishes are served with house-made garlic and chimichurri sauces, as well as a bottled hot sauce. All the dishes stand on their own, but the sauces were a nice add-on! As my fellow Elite Yelpers have said, "5 Star" salute to Santarepa... if you're in the neighborhood, you'll be doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop by. Prices are great, service is awesome! Highly recommend this place!
A family owned business with food made with love. It was a throwback on familiar nostalgic flavors. Sharing a sampler was a great option as small bites.

We live 2 hours south of Santa Fe and visit frequently. Eating at the Santarepa Cafe is always a highlight of our visit. I have Celiac disease (no gluten). They have so many gluten free choices! When relatives come to visit, we take them to Santarepa Cafe for lunch. They always walk away satisfied and so impressed. Last night, we brought my sister and her husband, who are gourmet cooks. They were both so thrilled with the food. We ordered the Super Sampler platter for my husband and I, but my sister and her husband had to help us finish it. They had ordered a sampler platter, which is a bit smaller. The owner, Isabel, is also a delightful conversationalist. My family eats like a hoard of locusts, so we always order the Super Sampler. They can make it all gluten free. When you come to Santa Fe, don’t miss Santarepa Café!!!

Worth the wait! We had the best arepas ever here! I had the pabellon and was stuffed after just one. We heard some complaints about the wait, which is ridiculous - everything is obviously prepared fresh to order, and there's even a sign at the register telling people that there's a 20 minute wait. Don't miss this place, it's amazing!

My husband and I visited this restaurant earlier this month, and we were excited to try the Venezuelan menu. We opted for the Sampler Plate. Personally, I was surprised by the small portion size on this plate; it was almost like an appetizer before the main course! Please don't market this plate as a sharing option for two very hungry adults. When we asked if it was enough to share, the lady confirmed that it would be adequate, but unfortunately, it wasn't true.We also ordered Mora and Passion Fruit juices, both of which were delicious. We highly recommend them! As an American-Venezuelan, I left the restaurant still hungry and disappointed.P.S.: If I visit this place again, I'll try individual dishes, and then I'll update my review of this restaurant. For now, this is my current perspective.
Parking: There are only 4 spots in front of this restaurant, then you have to find somewhere else to park your car

What a fabulous place we stumbled upon while at a market downtown! The food and service were amazing. They worked with our son on a dairy/soy intolerance and were incredibly kind and accommodating. We will be back.

What the heck. They are an amazing and DIFFERENT place just found out today that they are closing within the year. The property managers are skyrocketing the rent and they are forced to close! If you haven’t been here, go. It’s amazing food. If you have, support this great business beg them to open a truck like we did! I do not want to lose this place to eat ?

The food at Santarepa is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. The location is convenient, just a couple blocks from the Plaza and right next to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. What's more, they have their own free parking, unheard of in central Santa Fe. Service is friendly, helpful, and surprisingly prompt, especially since their delicious arepas are made fresh. All fillings are fresh and tasty and I don't think it's possible to make a wrong choice. Both meat and vegetarian options are spectacular. 5 star flavor at a moderate price with charming service in pleasant environs. What more can you ask for?
The La Sifrina sandwich is in my top 3 best sandwiches ever! Shredded chicken, mayo, avocado, and gouda cheese with either chimichurri or garlic sauce. Great combination meat, spices and cheese!

The owner of the restaurant, a native of Venezuela, was sweet and helpful and very passionate about her food. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! It was so good we decided to go there twice, even though we were only there for two days! Best gluten-free food we found in Santa Fe!

Wow! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. This food was absolutely delicious. If I could give this place a 10 stars I would. I also want to mention the lady at the counter was very friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you much!
