Just had one of the best meals in Santa Fe for lunch. Highly recommend if you want good food and something different than the New Mexican fare. I had the #12 which was an arepa filled with barbacoa, sweet plantains, black beans, caramelized onions and Gouda cheese. Ham and cheese empanada was equally tasty.

Just tried this place for the first time at a coworker's recommendation and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I explained I hadn't been there before so she recommended I try the mini sampler which had an arepa, an empanada, this little corn cake, and yucca fries, and sauces for dipping. It was the perfect amount for lunch. I also got a cookie called Alfajores - OMG! One of the best cookies I've ever had. All this for under $20. And again everyone was really nice. I'll definitely be back and bringing friends.

I am visiting from out of town and stopped here with a friend for a perfect lunch. It was a bit busy when we arrived, but the staff let us know the order would be right up and apologized for the inconvenience. It was a beautiful day on the patio so we didn't mind. I ordered the "Almost Vegan" arepa and I will dream about it for years to come.

Fantastic place! Very relaxed, very Santa Fe, and the food is FABULOUS. Isabel, the owner, will happily explain anything on the menu you’re not familiar with. And it’s impossible to get a meal here that is less than 5 stars.

Wonderful street food served in a very casual environment. The owner is very helpful and friendly we asked her to choose our selections. The sampler plate was perfect for 2. Very near the Georgia O'Keeffe museum. Make a day of it!Parking: Some parking available on site

I wasn't sure what to order so we got the sampler. A woman at the registered recommended the empanadas and I'm so glad she did. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Parking might be tough and seating inside is limited. Don't let this stop you!

This place is delicious. From the first bite to the last, you are able to taste all the flavors, from the meat, the cheese to the arepa. If you are in Santa Fe, you need to try this place. And amazing customer service.

OMG ... one of the best "off the beaten path" places to eat in Santa Fe. If you need a break from the "New Mexican" cuisine, or just want to broaden your horizons with FANTASTIC fare, stop by Santarepa Cafe. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, 2:00pm"ish" and the place was not busy. The owner walked us through the menu, and we decided to have the Sampler Plate of arapas (the smaller version known as "arapasitas"). We tried the shredded chicken, shredded beef, ham and cheese, chicken salad and gouda, and the BLT. All were fantastic, but the BLT stole the show! The dishes are served with house-made garlic and chimichurri sauces, as well as a bottled hot sauce. All the dishes stand on their own, but the sauces were a nice add-on! As my fellow Elite Yelpers have said, "5 Star" salute to Santarepa... if you're in the neighborhood, you'll be doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop by. Prices are great, service is awesome! Highly recommend this place!

A family owned business with food made with love. It was a throwback on familiar nostalgic flavors. Sharing a sampler was a great option as small bites.

We live 2 hours south of Santa Fe and visit frequently. Eating at the Santarepa Cafe is always a highlight of our visit. I have Celiac disease (no gluten). They have so many gluten free choices! When relatives come to visit, we take them to Santarepa Cafe for lunch. They always walk away satisfied and so impressed. Last night, we brought my sister and her husband, who are gourmet cooks. They were both so thrilled with the food. We ordered the Super Sampler platter for my husband and I, but my sister and her husband had to help us finish it. They had ordered a sampler platter, which is a bit smaller. The owner, Isabel, is also a delightful conversationalist. My family eats like a hoard of locusts, so we always order the Super Sampler. They can make it all gluten free. When you come to Santa Fe, don’t miss Santarepa Café!!!

Worth the wait! We had the best arepas ever here! I had the pabellon and was stuffed after just one. We heard some complaints about the wait, which is ridiculous - everything is obviously prepared fresh to order, and there's even a sign at the register telling people that there's a 20 minute wait. Don't miss this place, it's amazing!
