Our first experience with sopaipilla and we loved it! It was exactly as described by Wikipedia lol and so delicious. Our waitress was very nice and we enjoyed chatting with her. The location is hard to get to for an out-of-towner but we're glad we made the effort to find it. Highly recommend!!
Don’t be scared away by the sketchy hotel that this restaurant is built into. The food is great and authentic. It’s a hole in the wall, but you’ll be glad you went.

We ordered Carne asada tacos (2) because of the fat & grist waste not palable & three item combo (Mixto?). I had a chicken taco that no flavor. The pozole was too spicy hot that I could not eat it. ? My spouse ate the tamale (3) & the cheese enchilada (2) drenched in pozole...too spicy hot. Beans excellent! Rice so-so. Service supremely wonderful (4.7) & graciously warned us ? about the Poole being spicy. I did not heed her warning. Atmosphere, we loved the music.

Amazing hole in the wall. Great service and tasty food!
The atmosphere is simple, but the food is great. Flautas were great. Even a hamburger is made with fresh meat versus a frozen patty.. That told me that they care about the quality of their food. That is what is most important to me. Definitely will go back.

We brought our family here to eat because we heard it was good. Oh my goodness.. from the greeting at the front door until we finished.. this dining experience was the best! The food was delicious, fresh and the presentation was gorgeous! The server was friendly, attentive and didn’t make one mistake despite several specific requests. She was on point at every single interval. I’m so glad we chose this cafe!
