We had the worst experience possible at this place tonight. All the food was eh. I got my 15 month old a childrens tender plate and as I was packing the leftovers I saw a hair at the bottom of the plate. I let our server know she took the plate and spoke to her manager. Instead of letting us know they took the plate off our ticket the manager proceeds to mention I took the plate off your ticket but it looks to me like a baby's hair because all our staff wears a hairnet and none of my workers have short hair like that insinuating that it was my sons hair. When there were in fact several workers walking around without a hairnet including the ones bringing out the food. After I was disgusted by her comment she then got defensive and decided she needed to mention she was a Christian women again insinuating we were the ones that planted the hair. Very unprofessional and a very sorry excuse for a manager. Not apologetic nor did she just take responsibility and move on from the situation nope she proceeded to engage with an agurmentative attitude towards us. Needless to say we will not be back after this extremely disappointing visit.

I had been to Sopapilla Factory a year ago, so I thought I would try it again. I ordered the huevos ranchos Xmas. Both red and green Chile’s were watered down, the cheese was not melted. The whole plate was less than room temperature. The only thing I enjoyed was the refried beans with barely melted cheese on top. Sorry Sopapilla Factory you need to do better than that.

My husband said we should have eaten dessert first! The food was so good it was difficult to imagine the dessert would have been easy better. and yet… oh my goodness! The sopaipilla and fried ice cream were so scrumptious we did not eat until the next day because we were so full from the meal. Sincerely, you are doing yourself a disservice if you miss the restaurant. It is right off of the main highway, making it both visible and easy to find. we were lucky enough to be there on a day when they had a farmers market across the street with piñons and other goodies you could take home. DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sopaipilla Factory Restaurant in Pojoaque, while I stopped by the Peoh Cultural Center and I must say, it was a truly relaxing experience. This is clearly a place where families, both local and tourist alike, can come together and enjoy great Northern Mexican food. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful dining experience.

For my lunch break, I chose the Carne Adovada plate, and it did not disappoint. The chile had just the right amount of spice (New Mexico Mild), perfectly complementing the tender pork. The Spanish rice was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of ingredients, and while the mashed beans weren't fresh, they were still quite good. The Sopaipilla was cooked perfectly with crispy top and the honey infused butter was out of this world, I swear the butter was home made by it's creamy texture, consistency and taste.

I found the prices to be fair, especially considering the generous portions. My waitress was also incredibly attentive and had a truly pleasant personality, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend the Sopaipilla Factory to anyone looking for a delicious and comfortable dining experience in Pojoaque.

I I enjoyed a large-portioned stuffed (with chicken and beef) sopaipilla as well as a side of sopaipilla and it was exceptional. Good service, charming-diner-like decor. Great place to stop on the way to Taos!

We were staying in the area for a couple of days and came here based on location and reviews. We had a fantastic lunch. We had the lighter lunch portion, which was still so much food. We had a tamale, green chili cheese enchilada with rice and whole pinto beans and a chile rellano with a red chile enchilada and whole pinto beans and rice. It was all very good, but the enchiladas were our favorite. We were given 2 sopapillas that were huge! They were delicious with the honey, but we couldn’t eat 2. The service was exceptional and everyone was very nice and polite. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food good service but the place was a little warm. Not sure if the air wasn't working or if the just keep it at 83°.

Once upon a time this used to be a great place for a meal. My last 3 meals here have been yucky, from cold caldo and sopaipillas to canned beans, drippy chicken in my chicken salad, to tasteless cold tacos. This is gross food at Santa Fe prices. The only reason I gave 2 stars versus 1 is because the Shrimp Cocktail is pretty good and our wait person was nice.

I order an early dinner yesterday from Sopaipilla Factory and chose the Steak Timpequano for $22.00. What I got was an cheese enchilada with the cheese still cold inside and watery sauce. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked more than well done and almost burned. Total garbage. This is about the 3rd time I have ordered food and took one bite and threw the rest in the trash.

I have been going to Sop. Fac. since it opened.

I won’t be back.
