Waited 40 mins on a to go order. Paid $32 for 6oz of Menudo on a to go order. They said prices went up. After 20 years of going here will not be returning on out of town trips. No bowl of anything will taste good for $32.

Food was excellent and places was great! Staff was very friendly and personable. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because though I waiter was nice, after taking our order he never came back to check on us... no one did. We wanted a refill, needed more napkins and another fork and could never get anyone's attention, though our waiter passed by us a few times. Next time we are that way we will stop by again. I'm sure it will be better!

Atmosphere not bad just nothing special. Food was fabulous! We had the chili (red + green) with beef, and the chile shrimp mango salad. Both were generous portions and deliciously made. The place was very crowded yet we were seated and served quite quickly. Very friendly wait staff. Would totally come here again.

As I stepped into the vibrant world of Sopapilla Factory, my dining experience was instantly elevated by the warm presence of Salvador Garcia, a back server whose hospitality shines brighter than the New Mexican sun. From the moment I settled into my seat, Salvador's genuine smile and attentive demeanor set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. Despite the bustling atmosphere, he navigated the restaurant with effortless grace, seamlessly attending to the needs of guests with an infectious enthusiasm that left no detail overlooked.Salvador's knowledge of the menu was as impressive as his commitment to ensuring each patron felt valued and cared for. His recommendations were spot-on, guiding me through a culinary journey that celebrated the rich flavors of New Mexican cuisine. From the sizzling fajitas to the fluffy sopapillas dripping with honey, every dish was served with precision and a genuine desire to delight. What truly sets Salvador apart, however, is his ability to forge genuine connections with diners. Beyond his impeccable service, he exudes a warmth and sincerity that make guests feel like cherished friends rather than mere customers. Whether he's sharing stories about the restaurant's history or offering insights into local culture, Salvador's passion for his craft is palpable, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of crossing his path.In a world where exceptional service is often elusive, Salvador Garcia is a shining beacon of hospitality at Sopapilla Factory. His dedication, warmth, and infectious spirit elevate the dining experience to new heights, ensuring that every visit is not just a meal, but a cherished memory to be savored long after the last bite is gone. If you find yourself in the heart of New Mexico, do yourself a favor and let Salvador guide you through a culinary adventure you won't soon forget.

I was asked if I wanted chips and salsa so I knew there would be a charge and I'm used to 1.50-3.00 for this but it was 6.00. More than that the chips were all the broken bits from earlier tables, there was not a single whole chip in the entire six dollar side.Service was slow because they were mildly busy and that's ok. Mildly annoying that my appetizer came at the same time as my entree as it took long enough I tried to flag down my never present waitress to cancel the appetizer. The food was ok. If I wasn't starving it would have been even worse. I had the Chile cheese fries and enchiladas. Cheese for fries ended up being the nacho cheese from a can, flavorless.Worst part I guess was the service. My waitress would be at the table behind me talking to her friends who came in to get a table. She seems about high school age. My drink was completely empty for five minutes or more before I could finally flag her down and ask for a refill, she kept going by without looking. The second half of my meal was without any beverage. Then they have the audacity to have the horrible waitress check me out at the table as she watches what tip I give her. I usually tip 30% or so, I tipped 15 and would have done less if she wasn't staring me down. What a horrible experience. I know where I won't be eating ever again.

Was looking forward to trying this place but came away somewhat disappointed. It started when I arrived and had to wait to get seated despite several staff standing around the register. Once I was seated, I was frustrated to see this was yet another Santa Fe restaurant that inexplicably charges for chips and salsa and it’s not even that good of a salsa. I ordered the burrito and enchilada plate and felt it lacked flavor compare to the restaurant I visited the night before. The red sauce was just ok while the green was a watery disappointment. The server completely ignored me for some reason, passing by my empty ice tea glass no less than 4 times as she checked on the tables around me multiple times before I was able to flag her down to get a refill.I don’t know what I did to alienate the staff as other tables were given plenty of attention. Perhaps it’s a place that caters to regulars which I was clearly not. Your experience may vary.I was tempted to bring my wife back to try the vegetarian menu as she is restricted to a vegan and gluten free diet but my negative experience has changed my mind.Vegetarian options: Whole page of vegetarian options

Worth a stop. Good food value and the sopapillas were delicious. Clean restaurant in friendly staff.

I ordered stuffed sopapillas with beef and red and green chile and combo with chile relleno and enchilada with red sauce. Food was solid! Also enjoyed a side of sopapillas with honey butter. They were delicious, fluffy and light! It's more of a casual establishment, but I would definitely come here if I'm in the area in the future.
