One of the best green chili Philly steak sandwiches I've ever had. The soups are nurturing and tasty. 💖

I visited for the first time on my birthday right after our first snow. I can’t really think of anything better. Superb and delicious!

Our group of 5 stopped at Soup Star for lunch based on excellent Google and Yelp reviews. What a gem!! In a stretch of Santa Fe that is mostly chains, Soup Star stands out for the food and the service. The dining area is cozy, the service is friendly and generous, and the food was all delicious. I loved my trio of soups, and the sandwiches at the table were also huge hits. Don’t miss Soup Star!!

This place is so cute! When I walked in it has the best vintage vibes. I think the owner helped me with my to-go order, she was so sweet and the food was super good! Can’t recommend enough!!

I stopped by because a friend had mentioned this place months ago, and the experience was… a bit odd. The front room feels strangely like a funeral home. You order at a pedestal near the back, then pass through a curtain into a cramped dining area. The only available table was right next to the bathroom door and just a few feet from an older couple watching videos on their iPads—with the sound on. I have misophonia and can’t handle that kind of noise, but the hostess told me I couldn’t sit in the entry room. So I took my soup outside, next to the parking lot, and honestly found it an improvement over the interior. Pretty good soup, but strange ambiance.

Amazing soup, wonderful staff, super speedy take-out option!

Edit: I finally ate lunch here in person and it was absolutely lovely. A little local hideout with wonderful soup, fresh and delicious bread and salad, and really lovely hospitality. Generous portions, too! Such a sweet and uplifting gem.

Has a variety of wonderful soups (and sandwiches). Even does a ‘soup flight’ so you can sample several. Nice folks too. I’ll go back for sure!
