Amazing school filled with amazing people. The school to go to if you like asking questions!!
Graduated from this program A'93. I am biased. Fantastic education! If you take nothing else from 4 years there, you certainly learn how to think. And that's key to a successful life -whatever a successful life means to you.
Interesting place. Like a private school from what I understand. Let's just put it like this, if you don't come from wealthy stock, don't bother. My folks could never afford the fees here. Rich school for the wealthy future changers of the world.
Great school. Have been to other institutions and this is definitely the best. I don't know how many students take a Google Maps Review into consideration for their college decision, yet I would say if you're interested in coming here, do it. If you have heard about the rigour of this place, it's real, yet what most don't talk about is the impressive quality of support and community that surrounds you when you join. To me, that's what makes this place magical, mystical, and worth every ounce of effort. See you soon.

Wonderful school! Beautiful location!
I’m currently finishing my M.A. in Liberal Arts from here. It’s been a wonderful experience. Here you’ll find challenging readings, rich conversations, thoughtful professors, and an absolutely gorgeous campus.

How does an American college maintain a 5 star rating on google? This has to be an inside job. Everyone knows the American educational system is a joke

Great place for a picnic!
Most colleges are simply just school. St. John's College is a life experience.
Stayed in the dorms while participating in a graduate workshop. Great staff, engaging students, and idyllic setting.
A unique curriculum and learning environment. A lot to be gained by the student that engages the literature and the process fully.
I attended the freshman year there. As long as I can remember I have always tried to tackle the profound in religion, philosophy and literature. If these depths can truly be plumed outside of a divine epiphany this would be the place to do it. Not only are you studying the most outstanding literary works of the western world with truly outstanding scholars you are surrounded by a marvelous landscape. Each evening in the dining room you witness as the sun go down over the Sangre de Cristo mountain range on the horizon.
My attempts to plumb these depths were vapid and vacuous until sometime later I stumbled upon Jesus on the way, who is indeed profundity itself.
This school has all that serious scholarship can offer in all the most serious of implications within a liberal arts context.
To top it off: it is located just a few miles away from the Pecos Wilderness Area where you can backpack and hike to the nth degree, dismiss the folly of mankind's great thinkers and contemplate the Divine in HIs handiwork...
