We were looking forward to a nice sushi experience and picked out a bunch of Rolls everything looked great but it is the first time that I had sushi that was too salty. The rice seemed to be salted which I never experienced. I would have to say there wasn’t one roll that I liked and we had around eight. Maybe the salt shaker fell into the rice cooker???

The food was amazing! We also ordered PEI oysters from the restaurant in the complex. They were fantastic. We will go back again.

An excellent variety of fresh fish that was superbly presented. I especially enjoyed the Ikura with quail egg, the ama ebi, the uni, and the toro. This was my first time experiencing Chef Sara. She was as pleasant and charming as she was talented. Marci and I will definitely return!!!

The new sushi chef has truly made the menu her own, and it is a clear step up from what it was the last time I dined at Su. The chirashi donburi was perfectly balanced and a real delight.

The first sushi experience that we had in Santa Fe that could be termed outstanding: the food was as fresh as the sushi sold at most outstanding restaurants on the coast. The dinner was outstanding, well prepared and very, very fresh. We were very pleasantly surprised and will be back very soon. We had: Su ceviche, shrimp and soft shell crab tempura, the trio of Chu Toro and king salmon belly, spicy tuna hand rolls, unagi, uni, tuna and salmon sushi. All were delicious. The chef also went above and beyond to create something we asked that was not on the menu. Very impressed. We highly recommend this place for an authentic sushi experience.

We love El Nido - both the sushi spot and the main dining room. We bring out of town guests there to the main dining room. We, as a couple, love sushi and find ourselves getting our sushi “fix” by going to Su Sushi. Love the ambience, food, location and service. We drive from SF to go to El Nido since we've been living in Santa Fe for the past 3 years.

The best sushi we have had in Santa Fe, the fresh sashimi was well presented and very good, the chef's recommendations for rolls and nigiri were spot on. Service was friendly and attentive.

Echo Irl

Amazing sushi, best nigiri pieces anywhere near us.

This is elegant little gem is nestled behind the El Nido restaurant in the breathtaking village of Tesuque. The food was exquisite and the service was exemplary. The sous chef, Doug Prishpreed, was a real standout and helped prepare a marvelous meal that was perfect fare for our date night. 10/10 would return and I hope Doug is working!

We chose this restaurant to eat as it is near to the Santa Fe opera. Dinners was at 6.30 and the first order of sushi came out at 7.15. A few other items came out but at 7.40 we had to cancel the rest of our order and asked for the check. We had ordered 2 spicy scallop hand rolls and only one showed up. We had ordered the amaebi with the heads which did not show up. All in all a big disappointment. If you are going to the opera skip the Su Sushi and book at El Nido which is far superior. If you want sushi skip Su Sushi and go to Izanami.
