Sunrise Family Restaurant

We have been coming to Santa Fe on and off over the years. Each time we visit it has become more gentrified and harder to find places that are authentic. Fortunately, we came across the Sunrise and were delighted by the wonderful food, friendly staff, and endless coffee. We will definitely return.

Family owned and the service and food are spectacular. My favorites are the Carne adovada burrito and Carne asada tacos. You will always leave with a full and happy belly.

Really enjoyed breakfast here, friendly service, cute atmosphere. Loved the potatoes in the Sunrise plate. The green chile was good but VERY salty. Will definitely come back again.

We ordered the lunch carne adovoda burrito with cheese & red chile hand held and chicken fried steak and eggs potatoes.
We received a breakfast carne adovada burrito with eggs. When it came out right it was watered down red chile withe the chile pods not strained. and the chicken fried steak was ok the potatoes were awful the but the toast was burnt.
Friendly staff and its not their fault.
Its an old restaurant not taken care of. Im not sure have they have such good reviews, maybe just an off day?

Good food and GREAT service! I had the stuffed blueberry pancakes. It was very good, but next time I'll go with the regular pancakes. Staff was very attentive.
