Want a Sunset Experience??? Just walking through La Fonda Hotel to the Bell Tower was a sacred photographic, and artistic/handycraft, pilgrimage through the 30's through the 50's! Every room and hallway were filled with ,visually, savory artifacts.

It took 20 min for someone to take my order. If Martini if your drink of choice dont get one here, served with ice and a straw ?? (I moved the straw to my water glass before taking this photo)
View is amazing!

Ordered drinks and appetizers. Got our drinks. 2 tables came in after us had their appetizers and second round of drinks. Our server was MIA. Approached bartender who was on phone ,which sounded like a personal call.
He turned around informed us he wasn't a walk up bar, told him we were leaving due to poor service. "Whatever "
Young woman waitress, was apologetic, but we were done. We won't be back.

Poor seating arrangement, very expensive for what it was. Got so windy we were asked to leave.

We didn't have food, but it was pricey, according to the menu.

Our server, Ish, was attentive without being intrusive, which we like.

We both had the frozen sangria, and it was delicious! Perfect for a warm Santa Fe afternoon.

This place has a nice view of Santa Fe. The Flatbread & Paloma drink were good. Nice vibe to have a drink & lite meal.

Perfect view from the bar stools! Margaritas are good, the frozen one is very tasty.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarische salsa mit Käse und Chips ist zu empfehlen.

We've lived in Santa Fe for two decades but had never been to the Bell Tower. We figured that early October would be a good time to enjoy the end of summer with fewer tourists fighting for a spot on one of the few roof bars! We went with a couple of friends, and all enjoyed our drinks and apps. It's a perfect spot to survey the surrounding city and mountains. Special shoutout to Kallina (sp?), who I think was the night manager. She saw us looking around bewildered in the La Fonda lobby and, rather than just point us in the direction of the elevator, she led us over, road up with us, and ensured we got a nice place to sit. We're not used to that sort of above-and-beyond service in SF, so kudos to the manager and to La Fonda!
