We can see the city and beautiful sunset with drinks. Service is fast. Preferable place to wind down the day.

Drive to a mountain overlook and bring your drink. Wish I had checked this site before going. Comments are correct drinks are expensive and do not contain much alcohol For the price! The good seats are along the railing. My husband and I were seated at one of the sofas With a fire pit. There was no view where we were seated. A couple left from the railing seats and I moved there To be told that we could not move that there is a waitlist. Yes there is a waitlist but they look to see what seats are available Before seating anyone. We were not going to occupy four seats! We had ordered drinks already or we would have left. I ordered A frozen margarita as listed on the menu and the waitress stated drinks only on the rocks. Do not list as frozen if you Cannot serve frozen! The sunset view was just ok. You mostly see the rooftops of surrounding buildings. Left disappointed in the drinks, And view. I do not recommend. One star because the waitresses were hustling. Need to have a couple more and additional bartender For the crowd.

We've lived in Santa Fe for two decades but had never been to the Bell Tower. We figured that early October would be a good time to enjoy the end of summer with fewer tourists fighting for a spot on one of the few roof bars! We went with a couple of friends, and all enjoyed our drinks and apps. It's a perfect spot to survey the surrounding city and mountains. Special shoutout to Kallina (sp?), who I think was the night manager. She saw us looking around bewildered in the La Fonda lobby and, rather than just point us in the direction of the elevator, she led us over, road up with us, and ensured we got a nice place to sit. We're not used to that sort of above-and-beyond service in SF, so kudos to the manager and to La Fonda!

Alisa, the hostess, was kind and gracious. Exemplary service!

Took my mom here for a nice adventure but we were both very unhappy with our experience. We each ordered a cocktail (which were way overpriced) and her margarita glass was very dirty. After letting the staff know, they did give her a new one but did not even offer an apology. Also, for the price of a drink, you'd expect the glasses to be made out of real glass, but they are a cheap plastic. Which makes us think, if the plastic cup was dirty, they probably re-use the plastic cups instead of issuing new ones, so gross. If my mom did not have a good experience, then I shall let it be known to the masses.

A special place to enjoy beautiful Santa Fe Sunset.... A roof top gem-- We visited during Fiesta and only waited 15 min to be seated. Staff is very nice-- Brandon is efficient and fun... the food was very nice... we had three small plates.. all excellent. We sat where there were two love seats facing a fire pit.. two nice couples sat with us.... learned a ton about the area.. If if get chilly - the Bar provides blankets... How nice is that??? Spectacular location and a perfect ending to a day of exploring Santa Fe... Also especially loved Chapel Loretto... There is something very powerful about Santa Fe.... you can feel it... So much rich history.

Brought my mom here for margaritas, and her margarita glass was filthy. We asked and they make her a new one, but did not even apologize. Margaritas are overpriced for how they serve them, in cheap plastic cups. If her cup was that dirty, it means they reuse them--so gross! As long as I'm alive, I will not recommend this bar to anyone.

I gave the place 4 stars, but mainly for the sunset view. The menu and cocktails are next to nothing, so come for the sunset, not to eat and or drink.

Like other one star reviews, the view was great but the service was slow. After being seated, it took 20 minutes just for a server to take our order. After another 15 minutes, the server came back and had forgotten what we ordered so we had to order again.20 minutes later (55 minutes after being seated), our drinks came but no food. We had to flag down a different server to get our food.We ordered a second drink but never saw it. Luckily they gave us the food for free and only charged us for two drinks. The view was cool, but not worth the headache. We happily would have spent more money there, but the slow service caused us to leave.

A very rude group of 4 seniors came in after us. At first it seemed that the host staff was going to prioritize this group. I pointed out that my party was here first, they agreed and we were sat. Our drinks were dropped off and we were asked to move for the rude seniors' convenience. We decided to leave as we were moved from a table with a view of the mountains to a view of people's butts. The manager told us that because of the inconvenience, he wasn't going to charge us for the food that we didn't receive. Well gosh, thank you. The view that I was privy to for a short period of time was beautiful. I highly recommend this place if you are rude enough to insist on a table that someone else is already seated at.

Back in July we went on vacation to Santa Fe and went to this piece of trash restaurant roof top bar. I regret taking my family. We felt unwelcome. When they sat us down our waiter passed by us a few times and looked at us up and down as if we didn’t have money. I mean if I am traveling and on vacation obviously I have money. Glad I didn’t leave it at this restaurant though they don’t deserve it. We felt so uncomfortable we left. As we were getting up to leave the rude waiter finally came to take our order. Uumm no thank you too late. Now that I am reading other reviews I can see I was not the only one. Other than that I loved Santa Fe. It’s beautiful.

I have been coming here for years and I’ve always had a wonderful experience, so I’m not sure what happened recently, but this experience was not great, mostly because the staff is tremendously unpleasant and not at all welcoming. We got to to listen to the hosts complain about other customers. And when we did get a table, what appeared to be a random unfriendly guy in an untucked shirt approached our table and “what did you want?” So it turns out he was our waiter. The views are still beautiful, but it’s not someplace I would go back to at least until maybe next year when I visit again and hopefully they have had a turnover of staff.

A place open only for sunset cocktails needs a competent seating staff. You won't find that here. After an hour of being told they were waiting for a table for five to open, they had no answer when I pointed out that there were no tables with five chairs and asked why they hadn't added a chair to a table for four. They said they intended to seat us, which I believe, but they couldn't see their way through this simplest issue. Once seated, my whiskey sour was mostly ice and tasted like lemonade. Appetizers were meh. The view was good but not enough to compensate. I would not return for the world.

Overpriced and overrated. Food was not good. Not tasty and not fresh. View wasn't special. Doesn't even overlook the Plaza. Don't waste your money. Rest of the hotel looks nice, but as rooftop bars go, this one is a dud.
