The definitive dive bare in downtown Santa Fe. Follow the somewhat sketchy concrete steps down from the sidewalk, enjoy the murals, and step into a dive. Cash only!

Loved this place but it and the Pink Adobe are permanently closed? Last few times I’ve dropped by the doors are locked, no signs, winds been blowing dirt around the courtyard, looks uninhabited.

The Dragon Room was great, but it's been closed for months. On their website they say it's for remodeling. Hope they don't ruin a good thing.

If you didn't hit the Dragon Room you didn't go to SF. Solid happy hour (with great food specials - pro tip: nachos) and positive vibes. And yah, lots of dragon stuff. Locals, tourists, and congress members all chill here and rightfully so. Inside seating is fairly limited (esp in the winter) so keep that in mind and be patient.

Fabulous eccentric funky decor dum lighting, excellent bar and bartenders (well bourbon is Ten High), six dollar drinks during happy hour and deals on the excellent small New Mex plates -- and free popcorn. Main room is loud when musician is on, but back room is quiet. Bad news coming, though: The owner of Inn of Five Graces has purchased the building and his plans are unclear. Bar will close soon, but whether and in what form it will reopen...and at what outrageous new prices all remain murky. Go now!

Another fabulous experience in Santa Fe. We were lucky enough to get a space at the bar for two, had incredible cocktails, conversation and then LIVE MUSIC! Thank you, and the food looked amazing. We had already eaten but we're coming back here for Happy Hour and whenever we can. Santa Fe is wonderful, but it's fairly old these days as far as people, wealth, and overall generic quality. It's nice to find a gem like this. Thank you!

Great ambiance and super cozy but very poor service from our waitress who acted as if she couldn’t be bothered to take our order. My margaritas weren’t great and for some reason everyone at the table got a full rim of salt of their margs but mine always came with a tiny amount of salt. I asked a server or busser for a glass with just salt but he didn’t speak English and just left without asking another server for help. The restaurant itself is gorgeous but you will sacrifice service so be prepared for that.

A cozy and tasty bar. We felt like we were on a D&D tavern! The live music was the perfect vibe. The staff was so kind and accommodating. A must visit!

Cocktails were pretty mediocre and we were rushed out the door for a private party on a Saturday night.

Visited Santa Fe for the weekend. The Dragon room was highly recommended to us and we were so excited to have a cocktail and take in the atmosphere! We had dinner, double checked the hours of the bar, and then headed over. When we arrived, it was completely closed for a private event. (On a Saturday night I might add) There was no information on the website to indicate the closure and it was extremely disappointing to show up just to turn right back around and leave. It was a very busy weekend for Santa Fe, as the balloon festival was going on. Not a very wise business choice to close your bar to the public on a weekend when there are hundreds of potential new customers roaming downtown with vacation money burning a hole in their pockets. And if you’re gonna rent out the bar, at least post it on your website so people don’t waste their time driving down there! Thanks!

Had the portobello mushroom quesadilla. It was very filling!Customer service - a bit on the slower side but I think they are short staffed. The servers are very polite and nice.Customers can eat inside or outside patio.

Uniquely decorated bar, the oldest in Santa Fe. We arrived 5 minutes before happy hour ended at 7 pm, but by the time I caught the waitress' eye it was 2 minutes after, so missed out. Great musician played great tunes. Fantastic voice for Cat Steven's songs! My house wine and hubby's well drink were $9 each. (They would have been $6 on happy hour.) Poppers were homemade, huge, fresh, lightly cooked so still slightly crunchy which I love! Inside was cream cheese and I think Jack cheese. Flavorless but creamy. Definitely spicey though! 3 large poppers $12. We elected to order from the associated restaurant next door, and I'll write that up separately. I wish we had moved next door because our waitress was so lackluster, never brought the water we asked for until we asked again, never asked us how the food was or if we needed anything. The people at the bar were so loud right next to us. We had to text to talk. It was a very frustrating experience and the sticky tablecloth, which my glass stuck to, as well as my elbows, just grossed me out. But happy hour would have been worth it, especially early before folks get too loud, if you know what I mean.
