I was vacationing in Santa Fe and looking for a good golf course to play. Marty Sanchez fit the bill! Very reasonable in price and golf course in good shape. Wonderful experience overall. Would definitely play there again if in Santa Fe.

Course condition is great. Go to play alone so I could work on my gave without interference. Only gripe is that the city was too cheap to buy replacement carts last year and now the batteries die and the carts in general are far to old and ride horribly. January for new carts?! Who golfs in January?
Played yesterday 7-15-21, as we do once a week. The Superintendent has resigned and we are worried about the immediate decline in conditions. Former Super kept the course well groomed and ever so slightly dry...perfect for playing conditions and keeping the course firm. Yesterday was a soggy mess. Puddles everywhere, mud puddles lined the cart paths and were gouged by carts. The rough was deep and soggy suffering big gouges where carts had accelerated. Where the rough had been mowed, those areas were draped with long unsightly wet clippings. Don't get your ball in there you will never see it again. Greens were ok but very slow and fuzzy. Bunkers are filling up with weeds. Just after teeing off at one hole, two young staff members came barreling right down the center of the fairway in a maintenance cart right into our path. We saw them several times after that obviously untrained, messing around and not supervised. Very disappointed in how quickly things can deteriorate- hope they get a skilled Superintendent soon! Pro shop staff, excellent as always!

Just okay. Brat could have used a little more grill time but it is hard serving food on the turn. Recommend a paper dog tray / holder to make them easier to eat.
