Overpriced and very snooty wait staff. For example, when we entered we were told that they had a full bar and could accommodate a wide variety of drink orders. When we placed our order we were just told ‘No.’ My husband ordered a cranberry and vodka and he was told no and treated like a simpleton even though they clearly had the ingredients to accommodate his order. The ingredients were clearly listed on the menu as ingredients in other drinks.

We met bartender Will at another bar in Santa Fe, or we'd never have known that Tonic exists. The drinks were excellent ( not inexpensive, but damned tasty). Will is a great barkeep and host. Funny thing is, a guy we met at Tonic, we just ran into at the same bar where we met Will....

LOVE the art nouveau decor and background music, quiet, low key and relaxing. Can have a nice conversation over very creative cocktails. Best ever Espresso Martini! Overheard Will, the mixologist assisting others with orders and he was so willing to customize drinks to his customer’s liking.

The drinks were good, the jazz that was played over the loudspeakers were nice, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Drinks are around $10-$20 per cocktail, which is pushing the "worth it" boundary for me. That being said, while we left the establishment, we had forgotten a bag at our table as we walked away and the bartender ran it to us, which was unexpected and exceptional.

This experience was a VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE! We arrived with a greeting sat down and sat in plain sight! Brought water and menu and had googled menu expecting an incredible Adult Beverage! The attendant never came back to our table and didn’t acknowledge us AGAIN! It wasn’t busy as it was Wine Festival Weekend! Plenty of spaces! The bartender was too busy to stop speaking with locals to ask if we had decided on a drink after 15 min! We looked at him and walked out without any acknowledgment! Poor customer service and will highly not recommend anyone to visit this establishment! Very disappointed in the Service and setting! Very unprofessional experience!

If you go here alone don’t expect to be welcomed at the bar. The owner doesn’t allow anyone to sit at his bar, unless he personally accepts you as worthy. It feels like segregation if you want to spend money here. Oh well, there are plenty other places to enjoy a cocktail, all of which will get to you faster and with better service.

Wow!!! Come here no matter what!! Place makes amazing drinks and food!! Fine crafted drinks truly amazing!! We had the charcuterie with thai limeade (na) .. dragon’s roost, and italian lace .. the waiter is amazing!! Love this place!!!

World's best negroni, crafted by Weston and served up by Piper, whose witty and creative descriptions of the various libation offerings were not only entertaining, but also spot-on. Together with their colleague Will, the trio not only served up excellent cocktails but also a provided a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that made our evening perfect. It's a dont-miss Santa Fe experience.
