The staff is excellent! The The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful! I really hope to see more local performers! I am a local and I really love to see restaurants bring out local crowd! So many locals feel that locations do not tend to our traditions. The comedy show was nice.

What an amazing addition to Santa Fe's nightlife. We just saw a hilarious comedian, had great local drinks, and a good dinner.

Our nonprofit hosted a private event here and we were really amazed by the special atmosphere and yummy food. We had the High Tea at Unit B that was catered with special little Chocolate Maven sandwiches, sweets and english tea. The servers were so nice and attentive and it was such a one of a kind experience! Can't recommend it enough!

It took forever for me to get my food and drink. The food wasn't worth waiting for. The staff wasn't very accommodating. I would stick with drinks if you're going for the music.

I decided to check out chocolate Maven for a quick bite to eat and to get some coffee. The service was terrible and the food wasn't all that great. Where they have the tables set up you can view the kitchen and I was actually disgusted with what I saw. I would say chocolate mavens kitchen is just a pastry dish of diseases waiting to get into the general public. I won't go back and wouldn't recommend anyone to give it a try. Stay away!!!!
This has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast in Santa Fe. The owner and staff make you feel like you came to visit family, and having a view of the chef make the pastries is a plus. I had a vanilla latte and the Spinach Quiche. The latte was creamy and delicious, the crust on the quiche was thin and tasty. My husband enjoyed the Country Breakfast. My daughter had the Chilaquiles and we all vowed we will try those next time. They were savory with a blend of avocado, sour cream and black beans. We took some lemon bars and cranberry-orange cookies home and both were simply delicious.
Loved my experience at Unit B! Came here during a comedy night and loved everything from the service, the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere! I was sat at the bar and although the bartender was busy, she kept me well attended and got my orders out as soon as she could. I got the nachos which were so good and several drinks, each being very tasty! I will definitely be back soon!

This place is exactly what Santa Fe needed. Music with dinner executed perfectly. Alyssa in the bar took extremely good care of us and recommended an excellent wine pairing for the Chicken Picatta. I'll definitely be back.

Second time we’ve been there. Atmosphere is wonderful! The music was outstanding! The food would have been better if it was hot. Luke warm it lost much of its appeal. Asked for some ketchup our waitress wondered off to the kitchen never to return until she came to clear the table. I asked if they had run out of ketchup. She said she couldn’t find any. A hamburger and a bean burger with a glass of wine and a beer. $104? Plus $50 for tickets . It’s specialness from the first visit has worn off. Music venue great. Restaurant a disappointment. Not going back and letting friends know our former great reviews have changed.

This was an excellent choice for dinner and music. The music and venue were five Stars. Perfect! Service was slow and irratic. They kept saying to order more drinks but there was no one to take order. We asked for the early seating but it took 45 minutes to get a server to order them. Dinner, albeit we were staying for the show, took 1 1/2 hours to put in an order. I go back but before seating, ask who will be your server. Order meal with drinks and if you need time ask for a delayed service on food. It's a great venue, I'm going back!

Whether stopping in to pick up a quick pastry and coffee, having brunch at the restaurant or ordering a cake for a special occasion, Chocolate Maven is worth the visit. Their new venture is Unit B, a fabulous performance space open Friday and Saturday evenings. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and Celtic music. The performance was sold out. Delicious food and beautifully crafted cocktails are served up in an elegant venue that is reminiscent of a supper club from a bygone era. Soon to be one of the best spots in Santa Fe to hear music, I predict. A very unique spot in Santa Fe.
We were so excited to try Chocolate Maven. When we arrived, I asked if we could sit with a coffee and a pastry. We were rudely told no, only full service in the dining room. Okay, that is their policy, but they did not have to be rude to us about it. This was a drive from our hotel, so we decided to get coffees and a pastries to take back with us. The pastries are self serve with no signs on them to tell you what they were. If they had a filling or were flavored there was no way to know. Also, the pastries were huge. To me this bigger is not better. I watched my latte being made--someone newly working there was being taught how to make a latte on my coffee. Needless to say, it was the worst latte that I have ever had. I ended up spilling it and going to a nearby Starbucks for coffee. We won't be going back.
