Very enjoyable local favorite restaurant. It's been in Santa Fe for many years. I had breakfast in the morning I visited. I got a huge omelette with chorizo, and it was very tasty. The sopapillas were superior. They were large and hot and delicious, the best I have had in Santa Fe. The service was fine, and the prices are fairly moderate for Santa Fe. It's in a shopping center, so there's plenty of parking. This is not a place for a long drawn-out conversation because the tables turn over pretty fast, but for good New Mexico food at a reasonable price, it's terrific

Wow! They got a new cook. And he sucks!!
This was our go to place for menudo. And today was our last time going to Valentinas.
The menudo was undercooked and DIRTY!
It was inedible! And when we told them that, the staff actually LAUGHED AT US!

DO NOT EAT HERE!

Ordered to go steak and eggs plus chips and queso. They forgot my queso and couldn't do a refund over the phone. Im already back south at my hotel with no plans to go back north today. They said it HAS to be today also, can't get a refund on missing items tomorrow. Some BS excuses that it's a different sales book.

On top of that, this is the most bland, rubbery, fatty steak I've had. Half of the steak is just rubbery fat. The corn tortillas were cold and hard. The eggs and potatoes were so basic and bland.

The restaurant area is sketchy outside and low quality inside.

Try the Mole Enchildas dinner. It is so good… it’s sweet and creamy but also has a bit of a kick but not harsh at all… delicious! Their beans and rice are always fresh and hot, and they put some kind of Mexican cheese on top that’s the perfect flavor addition!! Comes with sopapilla or tortilla… I get the sopapilla and they come HOT and crispy! The plates are hot, the sodas taste like they’re supposed to, and the ppl there take excellent care of me when I go there.

Try those enchiliadas people… you won’t regret it I super promise!!! I get it at least once and often twice a week now… top 5 dishes in town AND it’s affordable.

This is an authentic New Mexican restaurant, hidden from most of the tourist, a place where locals meet and dine.

Asked for 4 taco dish with flour shells instead of corn shells. Should have been 16.00 but never told the flour shells would be more because they put more meat in it.. meal was 30.00 for 4 carne asada tacos. Lettuce and cheese. No sides.. watch what you ask for.. unbelievable...

My wife asked for flour tortillas instead of corn for her tacos, the price went from $14 to $30 with no communication from the server.

Prices ok, food is good, fries were fried too quickly, inside were raw. Wouldn't visit the store again
