Rooms: Lovely room and very clean. Two negatives: no USB charging stations and bathtub was worn.
Walkability: 3 blocks to square down town Santa fe.
Food and drinks: Sherry served from 4 to 5. Breakfast included.

We had two rooms for us and our son’s family. Had a great time. The rooms were very clean and tidy. They have a complementary breakfast which was fantastic not the usual biscuit and coffee. The rooms have a fireplace and a outdoor balcony area. There is a small bar downstairs. The staff throughout were extremely friendly and were always asking us if we needed anything for our rooms. Highly recommend spending a night or two here if you are visiting Santa Fe.
Walkability: Located right on the edge of the shopping part of the art shops.
Food and drinks: There is a small bar area downstairs and the staff were very helpful. Good drinks as well

We are extremely happy with our choice to stay at Inn of the Governors. The location is within walking distance to many sights and points of interest. The rooms were very clean, the beds were perfectly comfortable, the staff was attentive, the food was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea and sherry hour with biscochitos. The lobby area is quite cozy with a fireplace and lots of comfortable seating. The rooms have a 5 cup coffee pot with a coffee bar, a hair dryer, toiletries, alarm clocks, bath robes, and a safe. The only negative I could mention is there aren't microwaves in the rooms.
Rooms: I recommend the Governor's Wing. The rooms are more spacious and you can have a balcony.
Nearby activities: You're walking distance to the center of Santa Fe and many activities: the central park area, historic churches, museums, several different restaurants, coffee shops, French pastries, live music, and enjoyed browsing the native made items displayed by the artist.
Safety: We felt completely safe at all times.
Walkability: Great location! You can walk to everything a tourist enjoys in the historic district.
Food and drinks: The restaurant at the hotel has wonderful food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The made to order breakfast was included with the room. Between 4-5pm there's a tea and sherry hour provided in the lobby with biscochito cookies and other beverages.
Noteworthy details: Ken, the afternoon front desk person, was very helpful in suggesting activities and points of interest. We enjoyed everything he suggested. Also, there are several magazines, pamphlets, maps and flyers for current events and local shops.

The hotel clearly has a local following. Within short walking distance of most relevant places in Santa Fe. Relatively expensive for the area, yet quaint and cozy, lots of personality. Great breakfast, excellent huevos rancheros, hot chocolate and orange juice. Did not attend lunch or dinner, but if breakfast was any indication, they should also be good.
Rooms: The rooms are small, with two queenish sized beds. But don't even consider sharing the rooms with family or friends, more than two people per room will literally bump into each other. Decorations and theme are a mix of US western and (native) american. The only european spanish details are a couple of saints on the walls, ces't tout. The hotel is superbly located, a short distance away from the Plaza de Santa Fe, and not too close to be bothered by the Plaza activity. Although, the rooms are provided with ear plugs, which suggest street noise may be an issue on certain dates.
Nearby activities: Stores, nice bars, museum at Palacio del Gobernador.
Safety: Did not seem to be an issue, though I was warned of some insistent near-aggressive homeless people in the evenings.
Walkability: Within short walking distance of good restaurants and most relevant places in Santa Fe.

Central to old Town Santa fe and really in the heart of restaurants and shopping. Family owned business.

Second time we've stayed here in 4 years when we come up for the Santa Fe wine and chili festival. Very good place. We just wish they would have a bigger pool area. Besides that breakfast is included. Everything is great.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, and beautiful grounds. Great breakfast and the pool is perfect during the afternoon heat.

Great hotel with a special charm. A bit “old-fashioned”, but that’s intentional and completely ok. Only the bathroom could use some renovation and the rooms are quite noisy. Still highly recommended to stay overnight or go on vacation here.

This is such a nice little gem. It is super clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and they definitely make you feel welcome! Make sure you book with them directly ( instead ok a third party). When you book directly with the hotel you get breakfast in the morning (sit down and made to order) as well as a daily credit $15 at their restaurant each day (good burgers). Some rooms have fireplaces that are awesome.

We had a 3 night stay and enjoyed ever minute. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a fireplace in the room, which was nice. One caution, if you use the fireplace, be ready for a smoke order in the room.

First of all, what a beautiful space! Very clean, bright and well decorated. I visited early on a Saturday afternoon and they only had a few tables but plenty of folks working and ready to assist. I had the orange shrimp which was phenomenal and a Thai iced tea with boba. The boba was fresh with a great texture and flavor. The orange shrimp came with orange peel that was actually edible, many Asian restaurants it is too bitter but this was sweet and bitter and really complimented the dish. Very good! Look forward to going back. Free parking at hotel next door before 5pm!
