If you’re planing to dine in for breakfast don’t go it’s only dine in after 12 noon. I would not recommend because then you will have to eat outside in the heat.

Customer service was horrible had to walk away since the young woman was speaking with attitude. I was looking forward having an amazing breakfast. They had a lot Of options on food and Mexican snacks. Off to give McDonald my money now

I traveled from out of state with my family, excited to try this restaurant based on its Google reviews praising the food and service. However, upon arrival, we were informed that only takeout was available. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to sitting down and resting during our travels. Despite this, we decided to order, but when I requested avocado on the side due to an allergy, I was told I would be charged extra. The young woman who assisted us was disrespectful to my children and husband, and her attitude was unacceptable. Ultimately, we chose to leave without ordering. I wish we could have experienced the food and provided a positive review, but unfortunately, our experience was so poor that I would have given zero stars if possible. As it stands, one star is far too generous.

I pulled into Santa Rosa about 30 minutes before they were closing and ordered the enchiladas with green chili to go to take back to the hotel. The green sauce was really good and spicy. The refried beans were also pretty good. Glad I found this place after a long day of traveling.

Honestly, this restaurant was not what I expected. I grew up in southern NM so I expected this restaurant to be more like that, but this restaurant was good in its own way. I had their chicken platter and while I chose not to finish the pepper, shredded lettuce, and raw onion it was a very tasty meal. The server who is the daughter of the owners said they drew their inspiration from the Mexico City area. This is a bit of an expensive restaurant as my meal was $20, but the service was friendly and for a high quality meal the price was fair. My chicken was more like slices when I was expecting more like a chicken breast, but the slices made the mustard flavoring more consistent throughout. The food definitely had a kick to it, but it wasn't southern NM pain. The sauces they brought out with our meal were weird enough I can't describe them but they were good. The music was a bit loud and completely in Spanish. The menu was an awkward blend of English and Spanish, but maybe Spanish speakers need no description of the dishes. Definitely glad we stopped to give this place a try.

this place used to be very good, stopped here pretty often as a truck driver, but my last visit made me decide is was the last one. food quality and service dropped significantly
I had 2 Street Tacos and they were very good (asada and barbocoa). Chips and salsa were also very good. I had to have a taste of the beans that came with my husband's dish...SO TASTY!
Next time thru we will stop in again.

If you love Mexican food and you're hungry, there's no way you're not stopping here for a bite. I had 5 tacos, Lengua was my favourite, a green pepper tamale, and horchata. Everything was 100% satisfying.

Food was okay but charging for tap water without specifying well charged is crazy.
Burrito was falling apart.
Overheard woman at the counter being unnecessarily rude to other customers when they were ordering.

Could not get past the 6 dollar charge for chips and salsa before noon. Even when ordering lunch items. When asking questions the waitress had an attitude. The waitress was content to let us leave and not get a sale. Restaurant was completely empty.
