“This is a surprise find for us. What a delight. The food was delicious and they had a great selection of hand painted arts from Mexico. We bought a few. They are beautiful.”
“This was a great stop along I-40. The food was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted New Mexican style food. Friendly staff and cool retro atmosphere. This was better food imo than two other NM restaurants we had in the area without having to wait an hr.”
“My husband and I (drive a truck) came through today and we were so pleasantly surprised. We walked in and the staff was so friendly. I was unsure on what to get, and when asked, the waitress told me her favorite type of burger with chiles on it. I forgot what it was, but it was an old fashioned smash burger, which was delightful and reminded me of my childhood. They just don’t make them like that anymore. This burger came on a tortilla with all the usual veggies and chiles! It was SO stinking good. My husband got the chicken fajita plate and loved it! Prices are quite reasonable and the people that run this cute, little place were so kind and made me feel like I was a local. The way they spoke with their customers made me feel like I was in their kitchen at home visiting a friend. Thank you Sun and Sand restaurant for a great place to eat and the hospitality show everyone. The way you make everyone feel when they walk through the doors is quite rare and it was nice to see. Keep up the amazing work! Can’t wait to come back.”
“Best pizza I’ve had in years!!!! Highly recommend we are just passing through in our move from Utah to Texas and we were more than please with the service and quality of the pizza. We got the meat and had it delivered!”
“You know the food is good when the parking lot is full of State Police vehicles. There are limited options in Santa Rosa and we have tried the others. We were not disappointed with our decision to dine here as the food was very good as was the service. While many others have raised their prices to nearer $20 for dinner, this restaurant has not. Thee was a steady stream of guests the entire time we were there and you could tell it was an equal mix of travelers and locals. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal at an affordable price.”
“its just like any other DQ menu HOWEVER..IT IS a small town .... the workers are slow... they say Thank you in a go to hell tone.. and if they could charge you for napkins they would... i wanted to special order my onion rings...i like my DQ rings almost burned...to me they are delicious that way!... after getting my drunk i went up to the counter to ask them to do it this because i forgot when i was ordering... the cashier was looking at me through the side soor outside smoking on her phone ..the drive thru girl was trying her very best not to make eye contact with me... i finally got the drive thu girls attention and a told her my ring order..she responded "ummmmm ok we will see if theyre already made" .....shortly after she brings everything thing to our table she says "they were already made sorry" ..so i said its ok handed everything bacj and asked them to redo the rings... she said ummmmmm if we can ill see... they were not like i liked them when she brought them back and i didn't eat many...maybe i just didnt need rings that day!”
“Joseph's is always a MUST as we enter New Mexico. We look forward to stopping on every trip. Their chiles are always great, and it is always a relief to get some savory, old-fashioned New Mexican food again. The green chile enchiladas and the rellenos are fabulous. The service is always friendly and helpful. My family would feel bereft if we didn't stop.As New Mexicans transplanted in Alabama, I can appreciate true New Mexican food. The only way to eat it in Alabama is to cook it myself. Joseph's is a great way to celebrate coming home.”
“Nobody was running it. It's inside of a pilot but it was empty. I'm gonna hi e it five stars though because I mean it's Auntie Anne's and I am sure they were just short handed. Cinnabon is in here too so that was awesome.”
“Nice stop. They dint have frozen yogurt. The ice cream is delicious! I had the rainbow sherbet, my husband had a root beer float and he thought it was delicious!”
“staff therebare always the best. always helpful and have always tried to go above and beyond! this location is by far my favoritenstop in the whole USA! Showers are top notch and CLEAN! Can't say enough about you all!”
“This was a very good McDonald’s location. Their service was good and they got our food out to us very quickly and while it was still hot. The dining area was pretty clean, with just a few things messy here and there. All in all, we would definitely come back here again if we were in the area.”
“I stop at a lot of subways on the road, this must've been one of the truck stop locations. They keep everything nice there, I got what I ordered, and everybody was doing their job.No complaints whatsoever.Keep it up.”
“Carls Jr is several notches above McDonald's, Wendys and In & Out. Comparable to Popeyes, Sonic, or Five Guys. Would recommend the Sourdough Double Combo. The staff are sweet.”
“Clean and updated! Fresh veggies and great service. No worries getting a bowl instead of a sub since I am gluten free and keto! What a surprise for a gas station.”
“I usually don't get popeyes unless I'm in Louisiana, but I took a chance last night, and man, I'm glad I did. Chicken was on point last night. So good. I had to write a review, ? ”
“Sadly, I didn't get to eat here. I wish I had but I did get to try their drinks and I enjoyed the big selection of teas, coffee and other drinks. I'll actually be coming back and try the food.”
