Food was ok, nothing special about it. The service was OK they just didn't take care of the tables. You never knew who was going to be bringing you something. And it took you forever to ask for anything. The place was too small. They had a lot of customers, but it's like a Cracker Barrel. Where it's got a shop in it too, and it takes up most of the building instead of serving in the restaurant. Then, we had to stand around and wait for them to come to the counter....
Made a pit stop for lunch. Just off Intersrate-40. Good food and service. The taste was unique with every dish . Am going to mark this place and visit evertime I pass by this area.
Despite being totally packed, the wait for a table was short and the food came quick. The Santa Fe style chicken enchiladas suffer what so many chicken enchiladas suffer from - dense and dry boiled chicken. The blue corn tortillas were great and what little green chili sauce was used was flavorful, but that could not overcome the dry and dense chicken at the center. Shred it better, keep it moist till you prep the enchiladas and use more sauce.
