Cozy yet open atmosphere with reliable comfort food options that are well-presented and books, board games, and a family bathroom. They have an espresso machine and the staff makes you feel welcome. Best of all their hours make it easy to get in, get a meal, and get home before dark to do chores. They serve great local beef. Running a restaurant is grueling, and there’s nothing else like it in this area, and we feel lucky to have them.
Wonderful breakfast burritos and excellent coffee to start the day. I wish I’d noticed the tiramisu, but that’s just another reason to swing by on the return trip!

The Depot at Springer Station is a nice little place off the Interstate in Springer, NM. The atmosphere is very cool, cozy yet open, with books, board games, and a family bathroom. The menu is extremely extensive, with a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, steaks, and breakfast, including great local beef. The breakfast was perfect; the gridiron bacon and eggs plate and the Very Huge French Toast were delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent, and the staff makes you feel welcome. The owners are very nice, kind, and accommodating. They have a coffee bar offering cappuccino, espresso machine, and sangria like cocktails. A fantastic stop on the porch, with a water bowl for dogs. Be sure to order a basket of fries. There is a gas station nearby.
