We had an outstanding dinner at De La Tierra. The salmon and black rice was outstanding as was my husband chicken. Our service was excellent and would highly recommend.

As always, we appreciate the delicious food and beautiful presentation at De La Tierra. We believe Cristina Martinez and her staff are among the very best in the southwest. We particularly enjoyed the blackened-prickly pear glazed salmon and fresh pear salad on a recent visit. We find the service very friendly and attentive. If we had one suggestion, perhaps some background music...classical guitar?... would be nice; the restaurant is so quiet, it sometimes feels uncomfortable.

We loved everything we tried at De La Tierra. In the restaurant they allow you to order from the restaurant or bar menu. Both have a great selection. Fair warning the portions are HUGE!!! All of us should have split. As a party of five we tried a lot of things on the menu. The mushroom toast appetizer was delicious and the lobster kimchi risotto although pricey was very creative. The bar drinks were all great and equally creative. For entrees we tried the salmon, steak frites, chicken schnitzel (this is big enough for 3 almost, and a Ruben with a side salad. Absolutely everything was stellar and we all took home a box. The salmon was a huge portion and cooked perfectly medium rare as well was the steak frites. The chicken schnitzel was super crispy on a bed on the most amazing mashed potatoes I've tasted in a long time. The Ruben was excellent but the creamy herb dressing on my side salad was described as an herb ranch. I loved it. It was very herby and creamy something I would recreate for my daily salads. We all had the lavender cream brûlée for dessert and there was not a drop left. Service was very attentive all the way around. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely incredible experience. The venue was spectacular, the service was impeccable and the food was out of this world! Great wines, reasonably priced, and the cost was very reasonable. This is our new standard for dining excellence. Highly recommended!

Monte sagrado itself is beautiful and stunning the bar is also very nice, the drinks were delicious I had “Mi Compa” which tasted great as well as a festive drink. My only complaint was there was no music which is fine it was just very quiet. Until around 9pm they did turn on music. Other than thank we had a good time

Solo travel, ate at the bar. Megan provided fast and friendly service. Cool bar, biggest bar area I've seen so far in Taos. Food was good, not great, but I ordered a tomato bisque with the beef filet. The steak was perfectly cooked and a very good cut, however, it was kind of overwhelmed by the sauce and toppings. As dumb and petty as it might sound, the plating was visually underwhelming. I liked the bar and the food was good, I'll probably go here again and try something else. Great service and very cool atmosphere.

Ate in the bar area. Sloooooow service. Had to hunt down several different people just to get something to drink and order more food. Wasn't even that busy on a Monday night. Won't be heading back anytime soon.
