We were in Taos for a trip and were told about Bodega from a local artist. We weren’t incredibly hungry but thought to stop by. I am SO HAPPY we did. We ordered the Bronx sandwich & chicken/waffles special. My only regret is not eating it there so I could tell the owner (Dorthy) how AMAZING the food is. We are from the southeast and it felt like comfort food with the seasoning pallet.

What a gem! The Brisket Banh Mi was excellent and the owner was kind and friendly. So glad this spot is here.

He - ordered the “everyday people” sandwich.
She - ordered the “Bronx” sandwich.
Both were very tasty and the bread tasted just as good as any NYC deli. And the au just sauce wax ON POINT! I could just order a cup of that stuff as soup. The texture and mixture of flavors were incredible. Can’t wait to go back later this week and try more.
Oh yeah, and neat little market with sauces, ramen, and other international eats you can take home and use/prepare.

This is the spot for Ramen. They also do homemade kimchi. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out the menu and the store.

Whatta fun shop!! I had the Brisket Bahn Mi and it was the best sandwich I've had in Taos. There is a little market with niche groceries, cool stickers, t shirts, and more. Loved it!!!

So good. Unique flavors, like nothing else in town.
Found this place by happenstance today and all I can say is that it must have been fate because it was an all around fabulous experience. My mom and I ended up both getting the sweet toast which was, no exaggeration, one of the best things I have ever eaten. We also brought home some of the kimchi which miraculously made it home and was not just eaten in the car with my hands. The food was great, and the vibe was even better. Between the indie artist offerings, the super fun, funky, and fresh pantry items, and the generally welcoming queer vibe, this is a place that makes me wish I lived in Taos to visit more often.

BEST SANDWICHES IN TAOS!!!
I eat here as much as possible- everything is so delicious that its hard to try new things! The Brooklyn Baby, the Brisket Bahn Mi, anything with the jerk chicken, even the classic cold sandwiches are so so sooooo good! You cant go wrong if the Bodega is open.

Damn, the 40/40: spicy, acidic, salty, cheesy jerk chicken and bacon on dense bread with fresh veg and oil and vinegar. 10/10!!
Veggie Bahn Mi and Italian Spice sandwiches were on point. Thank you!
