If you only gonna stop at one place in Taos, this is the place! The service is friendly and knowledgeable, the chocolate is truly artisanal and the atmosphere is so wonderful. I want to go back every day.

They have a wide variety of chocolates that they make themselves as well as sealed ones from different parts of America.
I visited them in the winter 2023/2024 season and they had a Cocoa Goat Cheesecake that was a delight from the gods, the dulce de leche mousse is also delicious.

The sipping chocolate and mousse at Chokola is rivaled only by Kakawa down in Santa Fe. Fantastic depth and density, with significant differences in the various offerings, from subtle Arabian Cardomom to intense chili flavorings.
