Was okay at first when we were greeted. Chose this place instead of Michael's Kitchen. BIG Mistake!! Worst mistake! Server Mya, was nice at first. I ordered chicken tenders for my daughter, ordered the kid pasta because they have no side options with tenders. I ordered the Pollo Borachon. Daughter ordered a sprite that had no taste nor carbonation. She merely tasted the pasta and said she didn't like it. I took a taste of it. It was disgusting. No flavor besides some cumin and cheese. No seasoning, had to pour tons of salt on my own entree. Might as well have had bread and a can of Campbell's soup. We exchanged spirite for water with lemon. Server, Mya, didn't bother once to ask how food was. When I told her about the kid pasta, no apology, no asking how to make it better or offered other options. I addressed the issue of still being charged for sprite(2 small drinks taken from it, practically to the top) the gross pasta, she said couldnt take it off bc manager wasnt there. When she took receipt she grabbed it like a child having a tantrum. Okay, so coming from a prior server that served tables from ages of 15-28, you Never throw tantrums or grab from a customer! You Do not argue, unless you are the owner!!!! You do everything to please them to keep customers coming back and so they can give a good review to friends and the huge family they have residing in Taos. Never again. Waste of 48 dollars trying to take my daughter to have a good lunch. Total fail, thanks Mya! She sure was friendly with the out of towners though, made sure she went to check on them multiple times instead of just dropping off food. Never going there again. First and last time. And yes, hope my Huge family sees this. And hopefully a manager will address this!

A must try in taos if you want delicious spanish-french fusion at a Very Relaxed Pace. Perfect for the retired and other people with a lot of time on their hands. I always make an effort to stop when I swing through town, and I especially love the baked brie, the valencia paella and the pollo borachon. Price is higher than a regular breakfast restaurant but absolutely worth it for the craft and variety. Consider avoiding on a holiday weekend if you dont care about eating worse food somewhere else. Gutiz!

How great can french toast possibly be? You'll order it, despite the other awesome menu items and be glad you did. The edges are like toffee, and the maplr/berry sauce is awesome. I split this and the sausage breakfast plate with my husband and both were really good, but I think the French toast was the best I've ever had. Everyone working this morning checked in on us and were super friendly.

Top 3 French toast experiences ever! Caramelized with 3 layers of toast and excellent fruit topping, egg soaked but not too soggy, toast held up just great, saw it was in the Guy Fiori thing, did not disappoint.

We moved to Taos a year ago, but only recently discovered this gem of a restaurant. I have been there 5 times recently, 4 times with my wife, once by myself, & I have never been disappointed!!

I have had the Brie Omelette, French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Spanish Tortilla, and today the Parisian Crepe! For me it is a 3 way tie...the Crepe, Eggs Benedict & French Toast blew me away...the Brie Omelette was great and while the Spanish Tortilla was good (in my opinion) my wife has gotten it twice!! She has also had The Creole bowl which she loved & today she had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, while the sandwich was a bit unwieldy, she said it was delicious & she especially loved the hummus!

I am not sure what is better, the food or the service.....(OK as wonderful & friendly as the servers are the food is what keeps me coming back!!)

The prices are reasonable, the ingredients are righteous, the portions are huge, & the service is stellar!!

What are you waiting for???
