We tried 3 items on the menu for lunch, Mussels in a thick broth, Paella with seafood and sausage and beans - all 3 were excellent and rich in flavor and depth. The wine list was minimal unfortunately, but the house red worked and palatable, the red sangria was very pleasant and a nice presentation. Parking is available and service was delightful. Another “out of the blue” winner and well worth the visit. BTW: it was lovely to see the place was dog friendly and all the dogs...
Got the “prickly pear lemonade” & they gave me high country pink lemonade powdered mix. It was clearly light artificial pink color. Prickly pear syrup is pinkish purple color. Don’t say you’re selling prickly pear if it’s just pink lemonade. Also the beet salad dressing did nothing for the salad it was VERY plain. Not tasteful… other than that the waitress was attentive.
We've been coming to Taos for more than 20 years and just recently discovered this gem of a restaurant. The menu has something on it for just about anybody. We had the Paella and ham/brie sandwich and the flavors were good and the portion sizes were just right. Service was friendly and prompt.
