We enjoyed the fresh, tasty meal of macaroni and cheese and spinach salad. We loved all of it, atomosphere, service, ambience and food.

Traveling from Chicago with my family, LOVED everything about this place! Jake waited on us and he was one of the hardest working and pleasant workers I've ever come across! And by the way, the bathrooms were the cleanest and cutest I’ve ever seen! All 3 of us loved our food too!

Cute restaurant with “Great” reviews, however, it was not a pleasant experience. Waited 10 mins for coffee because they didn’t have clean cups, waited another 10 mins for coffee creamer (should’ve definitely been a sign) then…lo and behold, our ticket was “lost.” I only found this out after an hour of waiting for the meal.

We walked in to a health violation. The cool dropped the order number on the ground, proceeded to pick it up off the ground and did not wash his hands or change his gloves. That was followed by using a microwave to heat the food. At that pointed need to pass and go to another restaurant for breakfast.

Perfect lunch spot in Taos. Good food, fun people, and a nice, southwest atmosphere

Honestly this was one of my favorite meals in Taos. The kitchen seemed a little backed up and chaotic but the crew were nice as could be. My smothered burrito came out not smothered at all but they fixed it. The green chile sauce was the best. Not spicy but full of flavor. The perfect complement to the tortilla filled with breakfast goodness. And the tea was great too.

This is an amazing breakfast place right off the Plaza. It was so good that we came back and had breakfast here again the next day. Very cool retro décor. Great service - fast and friendly. Great coffee - serve yourself, but that was fine. The Casa Benavides baked egg with green chili sauce was absolutely delicious! For $8.00 this is a phenomenal deal. The breakfast burrito with green chili sauce was also delicious! On the same trip we ate at a super expensive restaurant in Santa Fe which is famous for its Mexican sauces - but the green chili sauce here was just as good. Actually better since it costs a fraction as much. A real find!

What a gem - gorgeous little cafe right on Taos plaza, with very reasonable prices. We got the mac'n'cheese, a green chili hot dog, and the frito pie - all yummy in nice big servings. Super friendly and kind staff. The decor is very historic & interesting, with one of the nicest restaurant bathrooms I've ever seen.

A little overpriced for what you receive, and if you enjoy eating with your dog, this is the place for you. I didn't think dogs were allowed in food establishments due to health codes.
