If you’re a tea drinker, get the blueberry tea. You’ll love it. We enjoyed the patio with beverages and appetizers. The white queso was good but the nachos with lamb were my favorite.

Really good food. Lots of unique options. I had the spicy sesame tuna wrap. It was spicy, and it was delicious. The shoestring fried were also tasty!

My reason for not giving more points was the wait to be seated, there was no one in front of us and there were plenty of tables, yet it took 10-15 minutes to seat us, a bit of wait on the food and a bit of wait again on the check.

I recommend this place, but recommend not being in a hurry.

We were very disappointed with our dinner experience. Our server asked if we were ready to order before even offering drinks. We started with the calamari, which was so over-breaded we scraped most of it off—no comment from the server.

For entrées, we ordered ribeye but were served an underwhelming New York strip instead. While the server offered to change it, the tone of the evening had already been set. For a high-end steakhouse, the flavor and quality were underwhelming.

Dessert was offered, but we declined. The bill was presented before we had finished eating and reflected ribeye, despite receiving strip. The only positive service came from the young night manager, who was professional and explained they had a new meat distributor, though we noted the kitchen should still know the difference between cuts.

After a week of traveling from Phoenix and dining at various restaurants, this was by far our least favorite meal. For one of the higher-end restaurants in Taos, we would not recommend.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the fish and chips with skinny fries. All very good. Large serving. We had the burger also. Very good. Wonderful patio. If you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price with a great patio cannot go wrong!

Cozy indoor seating and attentive service. A variety of menu items from steak to enchiladas. We had them both and the New Mexican chile was the best that we had in town. I will come back and back to sample their entire menu.

My wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary in Taos, we love this part of NM. We chose to have dinner at Marters steak house. (BIG MISTAKE) We made reservations, we arrived and waited to be seated. The hostess was not friendly, and seemed to have difficulty seating us. When we were finally got our table we ordered drinks. This took 15 minutes.. ugh. We both ordered steaks, wife ordered filet, I ordered NY strip she was medium rare, i was medium well. We also ordered an appetizer calamari it arrived way over cooked and no dipping sauce other than a slight drizzle. Had to ask for more in order for it to he eatable. Finally the main course arrived, this get better..the filet was barely cooked, the NY was cooked medium rare at best. The NY cut was full of grizzle really just a poor cut off meat. Brought the the waitress attention. She attempted to take my steak and finish cooking it. At that point I stated just to take it back. Did not want it re-cooked as it was very tough and full of grizzle. The manager then approached and informed me that my steak was cooked medium, she looked at my wife's and I said suppose that's rare?, as it was purple. She apologized and brought us a free desert. I asked for the check and we would be on our way. She brought bill and charged me for my steak which was un-eatable. We left her the free desert. Will never go back. Terrible!!!! Zero stars is what they deserve

A friend of mine who has lived in Taos 15 years recommended Martyrs Steakhouse based upon over a dozen meals that he consumed in the last 4 years. My friend from Brooklyn and I were dazzled on every level: atmosphere, food, service, and overall ambiance. Our server was electric she was so quick and thoughtful.

We both had a house favorite, fish and chips. Delightfully crispy and tasteful, complete with skinny fries and nice cole slaw. I had a nice glass of Argentinian wine and left totally satisfied. This is a beautiful place to enjoy the company of family or friends and it's a given that you will be a superstar with your guests for your choice of this venue.

I had lunch there 8-20-25. Nice menu. nice restaurant. Our server, Kelli, was amazing. She was so friendly and helpful and efficient. She is the main reason that we would return.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. My dinner was filet and veggies. The filet wasn't the kind of tenderness I expected, but the price was low. The steamed Brussel Sprouts were rock hard, sent them back, broccolini wasn't much better. My spouse liked roast chicken just fine.
Excellent mocktail.

Oh, Martyrs. You absolutely have to stop here when you're in Taos. I feel like it's similar to taking a step back a few decades, lol. This place is more about the location and the vibe versus the food. There are some delicious items on the menu but usually the specials are where it's at. Totally a Taos experience.

I ate everything on my plate! Increíble enchiladas and calabacitas. They had a crispy flounder sandwich as a special which looked delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Looks like it's going to be a staple when we visit Taos.
