Terrific breakfast spot in Taos. All the usual breakfast fare plus selections of southwest influence. Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Husband enjoyed the French Toast. The restaurant is busy and had an adequate amount of staff who were always hustling and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast and off for a day of tourism.

Don't be intimidated with the line. It moves fast. When we were waiting to be seated I knew the food was going to be good because the kitchen staff looked like they were all on a work release program. They were rocking back there and the food was great. Definitely a must stop in Taos. Don't skip on the bakery. Cream puffs and apple fritters were outstanding. We'll be back on our next stop through.

This place is a landmark in Taos. I always come to Michael's when I visit the town and it never disappoint. There is pretty much always a line, but it moves fast.

Blown away by the quality of the food here. My dentist had recommended this place when I mentioned I was headed to Taos.
The sopapillas are melt in your mouth, to die for good, especially with the honey butter. I highly recommend the stuffed sopapilla for an entree. I took half home and it made for an outstanding lunch the next day. The breakfast was fantastic as well. I broke down on the 2nd time and bought one of the large cinnamon rolls with the cream cheese icing. I ate on it for 2 more mornings with coffee by warming it up in the microwave.
The food was outstanding, i ended up having 3 meals there over 2 weeks. Well 6 meals if you count the leftovers every day after :-).
