Must be one of the most busy restaurants in Taos. They have a special shack outside to serve you drinks while you wait for your table.
No liquor license so the margaritas are made with wine — still good though.
Ordered the Carne Adovada which was simple but very delicious. Chile Relleno was also notably tasty.

On the pricier side for mediocre food. I like spicy food but man was the green sauce overly spicy! I am from south TX where Mexican food is a staple, this is not comparable to home at all. If you're use to San Antonio Mexican food I would skip this place.

Delightful 😋
The service was very poor, and the staff was rude. My family and I were seated right next to the restroom in a very small, cramped space, which made it extremely uncomfortable to eat. The food was burnt, and overall the experience was disappointing. This was the worst place I’ve eaten in Taos. The prices are also unreasonable for the quality of food being served, in my opinion.

Tied for first place in my 15 year + hunt for the world’s best chile rellano. Superb green and red chile.

There is a lovely dog-friendly courtyard with a fire to keep warm by while you wait for your table, and they can serve you drinks while you wait as well! Despite being busy, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was AMAZING, especially the chile rellenos!! And the absolute best queso I’ve ever had, hands-down. The colorful walls and New Mexican decorations just added to the already-great vibe. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

The food here was great, and so was the service. Get there early as there was a line forming before they opened. Be aware they do charge a service fee to pay with credit card.

The food is so so good. Service is excellent, friendly and spot on with requests. Cute little restaurant on the outskirts of Taos. Get the green chile sauce! Spicy!

One of my favorite eateries in Taos. The vibe is cozy, warm, and friendly. While the place gets full, the fire in the courtyard is such a pleasant treat that I don’t mind waiting. The menu is great with a large selection of options even for vegetarians. The enchiladas were especially good, as were the beans. They also have a nice dessert selection with creative varieties of biscochitos. The staff is friendly, even while managing rush hour, a special skill. They also have beautiful talavera tilework and a fun color scheme decorating the place.
