Orlando’s is always a must stop whenever I’m in the Taos area. The enchiladas are the best I’ve ever had!
While visiting Taos we stumbled across this busy little restaurant and decided to stop… so glad we did!!!!! This was a local and tourist favorite! We met many friendly people while waiting for our table and once seated we found the atmosphere to be inviting, had great service, the food was delicious and prompt, and we enjoyed every bit of it!!! Delicious chili relleanos!!! Would absolutely recommend and return 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Very average New Mexican food despite all the hype and advertising. There are many places with better food and margaritas in Taos.

Numerous people recommended this place to us and for good reason. It's a local gem. Off a main road it's in what appears to be a converted house with a nice patio. There's a gravel parking lot that gets packed when it's busy.
They don't take reservations for dinner and your whole party has to be present to be seated but they are attentive with their service and things seem to move quickly.
I got the shrimp enchiladas, Christmas and a diet coke and was a happy camper. Highly recommend!
Chili relleno are awesome. Had the Christmas sauce on my burrito. The green chili was much better. From now on I will order green chili only. But other than that that wait staff were friendly and nice. Will definitely come back. 👍

Absolutely amazing meal. We arrived as soon as they opened for dinner and got right in. I ordered the combo meal and the chile relleno was the best I’ve ever had. The tortillas were also excellent. Everything was great. Highly recommend. The parking could use some work, though.

When visiting Taos, we heard amazing things about this place so decided to go early. It opened at 5:00 on the Saturday evening so we arrived at 4:55 p.m., only to see about 25-30 people already in line waiting for it to open (see photo). We were seated around 5:20 and chose inside dining.
While we were waiting, we saw people arrive at 5:10 p.m. and seem quite confused that the restaurant was already full after 10 minutes of being open.
This place is as authentic as you can get. The service was amazing although I couldn’t believe how small the kitchen was to serve so many people (see photo).
My only complaint is there was far too much demand for the supply. Truthfully, the prices are too low and I’d recommend that they raise their prices to lower the demand to a more reasonable level.
