Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Wait staff was friendly as well. Would definitely eat there again when in town.

We ordered an Italian sub and the fettuccine. Sub was amazing, fettuccine needs more garlic, Parmesan and a little salt. Other than that the consistency is great, noodles cooked prefect. That being said…. The manager taking orders was an absolute off putting individual. Zero customer service for individuals he didn’t already know or who are repeat customers. Everyone else was great.

SKIP.
Doesn’t matter how good the food is - the people are among the worst restaurants I’ve ever tried to sit down at.
Their check in system is horrible, their seating is terrible, and the service is abysmal.
There are plenty of other places to eat in Taos. Don’t make the trek outside of town to eat at this terrible place.

Very good food including brick oven pizza and a variety of other foods for appetizers, main meals and desserts. Will definitely come here again!

Not the greatest photo, but wanted to share because the gluten-free crust is so dang good! I’ve been GF for a decade and this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Pair it with the watermelon cider—soooooo good (with no tummy ache) 10/10 ♥️♥️

Really good pizzas and other italian dishes. Good brews also. Sit down service is just great. Can't go wrong getting food from here to take home. But if you do make sure you order ahead.Because lots of people do that and if you just walk in and order to go, you will be behind all the people that have phoned in orders

Wow! Is it the best I've ever had? Yes. Is it better than what you've had? Maybe. All I know is it would be a crime to miss out on Pizanos.

What a nice place, with so many gluten free options. Their gf pizza is the best I ever had. Jen made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is also very nice, with so much space for parking. Fab! It is true, best pizza in Taos!

This review is when we went as a group on October 4th, I’m a director for a car club and I personally love pizanos, so I figured it would be a great place to stop for lunch going through Taos (roughly 30 people). So I gave the restaurant a heads up a week before hand and we agreed if they had available seating we were more than welcome to eat there. We showed up and were then yelled at by I’m presuming was the owner Charlie (I think that’s his name) that there was too many of us and we couldn’t put the tables together on the patio unless one person was paying for everyone (shocker they were dead when we walked in, so there’s literally no reason they couldn’t serve us, I guess he doesn’t like money?). But they never refused us service, so we dined in for lunch, the food was great and the actual servers were awesome and did a fantastic job the entire time.
Fast forward to the end of the meal, Charlie tried forcing a 20% gratuity on all the checks saying we were a group and thus it was mandatory but were forced to sit separate at normal tables thus have individual checks as if you were to dine in normally. When I asked him to remove it he started raising his voice at me telling me that they weren’t staffed to serve us (again the staff did amazing, kitchen and front of the house so I don’t see any problem there, no faith in his employees?) proceeded to raise his voice that we never should have showed up and given him our business. How do you not have the staff to serve only just your patio, that’s all the room we took, on a Saturday lunch at that, if the restaurant got busy and filled up are you going to yell at every customer that walks in? Make that make sense from a management perspective.
If this isn’t true Taos culture I honestly don’t know what is! Business owners hating business is just comical. I’ve been a long time fan of pizanos and have spent hundreds of dollars there. But I will not be returning and would much rather take our club, who does this 2-3 times a year to a resturant who actually appreciates business.
Oh my favorite part is when I ordered food for the table he told me “that’s a lot of food, you don’t need all that food” I’m not sure if he thought it was just for me, or what but what kind of comment is that.

We were here for dinner and it was a busy night.we waited for close to 40 minutes for a table..the vegetarian pizza was good, but this place will not entertain any substitutions on the pizza which does not make sense as the pizzas are at a higher price level. The person at the counter did come across as a bit rude though the waitress and everyone else was very sweet. The place was also very noisy as it was super busy. Go here only if you have the patience to wait and put up with some amount of attitude depending on who you interact with.
