I’m not opposed to a (mostly) plant-based menu, but it was strange that bison and cod are the only animal protein options. The staff were condescending and unhelpful when asked about the protein options. The french fries were inedible, bland, and over-cooked. The plant-based cheese was gross, and not because it was non-dairy.It is a beautiful space. I love that the bluegrass jam is back in this location, even if the food is disappointing.

We arrived from our road trip, within 10 minutes of closing time, on a Saturday night and the staff graciously seated and served us with great food. Nice casual outdoor dining with local entertainment - was very pleasant. Lovely outdoor seating, live music often, tasty food.. love the new Taos Cafe! Could go back every day for the brisket tacos and of course the portobello fries. Get them both with the avocado crema. House made!
