Food was excellent and authentic but service was abhsmal. I was completely ignored; not seated at first then when tried to get the waiter's attention was twice ignored, and never met a waiter even once. Brown people got offered salsa, but I couldn't get any to save my life so it was kind of bland but still good.
We stopped here for lunch one day while traveling through Taos. We had the best chicken nachos ever. Great flavor and no greasy residue. Whole beans, grilled chicken and considerable toppings. The staff was outstanding, engaging and professional. I highly recommend stopping here for good eats in a non pretentious environment.

Food was good. Service was atrocious
Service was basically not there, for the only table in the restaurant we waited. Waited for water, waited for refills, waited for food, waited for anyone to check if food was OK. Chili rellano was quite good, mole was not hot. Would not return.

The service was terrible. They never came near the table to ask if we needed anything like refills. They brought the food but we had to wait for utensils. After eating i wanted dessert but the waitress never came close by. She kept passing over and over. She talked and sit with her friends. We never got a ticket I had get up to request it. I left without tasting dessert and no refills.
This table in front got more attention then my table.

Great food! I had Axel’s Favorite, a cheeseburger stuffed chile relleno. Try it!

We ordered breakfast at 11:30. It never arrived. We left at 12:30. The waitress had to be summoned to bring us more coffee; she never came by on her own. They were nice and apologetic, and they comped our coffees when we finally gave up and walked out. No stars for the food because I have no idea. It might have been fantastic!

Saw the 4.7 rating. NOPE! The food was average at best. Had the enchiladas. The pork tasted sour (old) and was tough. The service was terrible. We waited over an hour even though there were only about 4 tables filled. Spanish rice was okay, tasted oily and like chicken broth. Refried beans average. Never filled our waters. No explanation. No apologies. Stay away in my opinion.

We had a wonderful meal here while in Taos. Delicious Burrito and Nachos. Full of flavor, juicy meats and large portion. Cantina Style atmosphere, spacious and clean. Fantastic Service and very nice staff! Highly recommend.

Yum! We stopped in for lunch and had such a fantastic meal. The michelada was delicious and the food was great, especially the homemade green chili!

The food is fabulous. The tamales are world class. A very relaxed atmosphere.

The food was mediocre. My biggest issue was the waitress change the tip from my normal 20 % to 25% and I didn't notice until the next day. Customer beware.

Service was fantastic. Good food, well prepared and quickly served. Plus they have this red taco sauce...not a thick red sauce like New Mexico is used to, this is a taco sauce, made with red chile and garlic for sure, maybe some vinegar. It is hot and tasty, and you can buy it to go in a cup. I'll be back for more, it's the best taco sauce I've ever had. Replacing Valentina Extra Hot in my house.
