A reasonably priced steakhouse in Taos. The steak was cooked perfectly, the baked potato was great, and the vegetables were very tasty. Good live music as well.

We went this morning and service was rushed and we chose to leave because we knew it wasn’t going to be a good service. Tried to go again this evening and I called to place the order and lady forgot to put the order in after waiting 40 minutes.

This place is located on the property of an awful hotel with the same name. The service is slow, the food is just ok and the waitstaff is so busy they hardly have time for customer service.

The experience at this beautiful historic restaurant was not what I expected. The waiting staff should be spoken to about not bringing their personal beliefs into a professional environment. This restaurant is in New Mexico after all - Pueblo territory, expanded by the Spanish long ago. The audacity of the female waitress to come complain to me about another table of customers saying "this is America and people should speak English". Being that I'm mestizo I found that extremely offensive. I offered the waitress to translate for her and the Spanish speaking table- she declined. Later a possibly local Hispanic family showed up to a packed restaurant, and had nowhere to sit and wait. That same waitress tells them they can't be standing around and should wait outside (in a rude tone, on a November night when it's cold). I felt bad for that family, I felt for the Spanish speaking family too. It's only imaginable to believe that this specific waitress prefers to serve certain people. Couldn't really enjoy my meal after all that. Management should really provide a waiting area. Don't expect the waitress to change her views, but should at least be professional to ALL people at her place of employment.

Lovely New Mexican atmosphere, great musicians sharing their craft, nice people all around. A Taos tradition!

The food was delicious. We had an overall great experience. With the exception of a staff member deciding to unlock the bathroom door while I was in it. Fortunately I was washing my hands at that point. It was very busy. There was live music and it was brunch. The food and service was very good for how busy it was at the time. Well worth the trip.

Delicious food, fun environment with live music and beautiful paintings in a dark wooden atmosphere. Upon walking in I was ignored by the server until a guest told me it was self seating and I said oh I can just sit anywhere and the server looked at me and said yes, thankfully she wasn't my server as another woman came on the floor but my server May have been overwhelmed with the tables because everyone else sat after my party and it filled up in time for the band and it was really hard to get her attention especially for the bill. The food made up for the bad service so be prepared for that.

Terrible service. Waitress was terrible- didn’t want to be there. Didn’t want to take care of customers. Told Vietnam veterans we can’t seat you. Just BAD!!!!

Honestly, what a disappointment. Curdled creme and they didn't care. Dinner was terrible. Waited 30 minutes atleast for a few items. Ordered one baked potato. Was brought fries and told to eat them they were out. What a shame.

Came for the bland prime rib special,( at 27 bucks a pop) it took them an additional 20 minutes for the potato I ordered and I won't mention the bottle of wine that never came. The only redeeming part of the night was the live music

Server was absolutely the rudest person I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. After being seated we waited a while until she came by and pretty much asked "what do you want". No hello, no sorry about the wait. She then wouldn't seat part of our group that came in a little later than us, but when some regulars came in they got seated. We had some Vietnam era veterans with us that had to go up to the bar to be served and then carry their orders back to the table. Seems the server didn't want to be there that night or didn't want us there, and it showed. The food was good but I'd never step foot in there again due to the very rude service.
