Solid choice. Definitely understaffed for the holiday but they were solid and attentive.

We went here for dinner. We ordered their homemade dumplings (delicious), pad Thai (totally not it - looked more like Chinese noodles. It was the only one that we didn’t like), Mongolian beef (pretty good), and Singapore noodles (delicious too). They are served in takeout containers so it was convenient if you have leftovers. We were given paper plates to share our food among ourselves.

We got a chance to talk to the owner. It’s just she and her husband running the restaurant so they need all the support that we can give them. Her husband is Cantonese who moved from L.A. so it’s best to order Cantonese dishes.

Usually, if a restaurant has Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai on the same menu, it's no good. But this place solid. I tried items from different regions and they were all good.

Those sesame balls are absolutely insane! We went to Song’s 2 nights in a row, the food is so damn good! Prepared with love, authentic Chinese food. Don’t miss this place!!! The Singapore noodles were good - very turmeric-y and a bit spicy. The Thai red curry was to die for. Very spicy tho — if that’s not your jam. We also really liked the Louhan Feast. But those sesame balls… 😍😍😍

Connie is absolutely one of my favorite people in Taos! The love she has radiates from the amazing food she makes. Thank you for nourishing our family over the years with love and deliciousness!

My husband and I ate at Song’s while on our honeymoon in Taos. We ate at a lot of great restaurants, but on one of our last days just wanted something simple and easy. We ended up at Song’s and loved it. While nothing was particularly remarkable it felt quite, homey, and warm. The dumplings were great and Red Curry was incredible! We had plenty for leftovers which was nice as well. If you know what it feels like energetically to eat a home cooked meal that’s what we got! We went around 5:30 pm and avoided any sort of business. If you want something simple and yummy this is your place! My husband wants me to mention that our server/the owner was very sweet and friendly and will take care of you well!

Once we got to the stairway up to the restaurant we started to get nervous. We went up the decrepit stairs and waited on the old, dried out wooden patio. My husband kept pointing to the dirt, dried out wood and did not want me to order food. His point was that anyone who would allow the public entrance to become that rotten and dirty has a greater likelihood of allowing worse in the areas the public cannot see. We left before we were seated.

Dear Lord. The food was to die for. Connie (owner) was our server. She was personable, kind and generous. She brought an order of dumplings after she saw my kids devour the first order. Wish we lived closer. Or wish Connie would move her restaurant to Flagstaff!
