My fiancée took me out to Suchness for my birthday and it was everything everyone’s been raving about! The service was awesome and the food was amazing!! The owner/chef was the only one cooking and the food came out perfectly paced and also cooked to perfection. The servers were on point and personable.

Everything about the meal and beverages was intentionally crafted. We arrived to have our table ready by really friendly wait staff on what’s arguably the busiest night of the year, Valentine’s Day. Every morsel of the meal was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection and thoughtfully creative with perfect portions from salads to appetizer, to entrees and dessert. Everything was so delicious we wanted to lick our plates. Who knew black pepper on a dessert would taste so good? The music, art and overall vibe tied it all together. This was the best dining experience we’ve had in New Mexico and we will certainly be back....

Myself and two friends tried Suchness for the first time last night. The ambiance was great - quiet, non-pretentious, friendly. Everything was very good. The short rib was something greater than exceptional!! I wish I had better words to describe that short rib. It was one of those dishes you remember for a lifetime. Wow, loved every bite! The Atole de Grano was the best veg entree I’ve ever had. And the celery serrano cocktail was really beautiful.
We had a wonderful dinner. The entire experience was incredible. All of the food and drinks were delicious and had unique flavors. We enjoyed the open kitchen and getting to see the staff create impeccable dishes. Suchness is lovely and unlike any other restaurant in Taos. We will be back!

Again, another amazing meal at Suchness! This time we had the tiradito, a delicious way to serve hamachi topped with perfectly chopped cucumbers, cilantro, and slices of citrus — just divine and served on a chilled metal plate, keeping the ingredients chilled longer as we chatted. Then I had the Short rib which was seared after being slow cooked, such a revelation to get both textures. My date had the rigatoni as it is just that good — he wouldn’t miss a chance to eat it again. Yum!

My first time there, I was kind of blown away at each food item, each was somehow a full symphony of flavor.
The service was spot on, they seem to have the placed sized just right, the staff can keep the food prep rolling along and they see exactly when the customers could use a point of contract.
I found the atmosphere clear and fresh, and each element of the space was simple, downhome and somehow elegant as well
