Taos Pizza Out Back

The place was pretty dead on a Wed. Ordered a pizza to go. Very undercooked crust. Ingredients just thrown on pizza so that some had a ton of ingredients, whole others slices had just cheese. One of the staff creepily asked me to smile.

Wonderful atmosphere and attentive folks. Family friendly and several food and beverage options to accommodate everyone. Pizza and salads were wonderful. Great hangout and will definitely be a destination place for our next visit.

Been here multiple times and I always leave with a smile. The outdoor seating area is cozy with cool decor. Their specialty pizzas always hit the spot with the combinations of flavors, and the salads are the perfect complement. Great wine and beer selection too. There’s truly something for everyone.

this place charges customers for kitchen staff gratuity and pockets the money. I tip well but those tips better go to the kitchen staff as a customer I inquired about this and the owner (John Arnold) called me screaming in profanities

ordered online for delivery. was told 50 mins. 3.5 hours later no pizza! gal who answered phone put phone down and left me hanging over 30 mins! do not order from taos out back pizza

$10 a slice?! Are you friggin kidding me? If a pizza has 8 slices, that means $80 per pizza. Think about how much the ingredients for one pizza cost. A fraction of the cost of 1 slice. Factor in the hourly rate of employees/operating costs versus the time it takes to make 1 pie and the cost is still less than 1 slice. This is robbery. Straight up. A slice of pizza should never cost more than $5.

Ordered takeout and was really disappointed. The dinner sized caesar salad was barely a side salad, and the focaccia was flat and the size of my palm. It was nowhere close to an Italian focaccia. The pizza was bland with too much cheese. I would equate it to Dominos in terms of quality and taste. Many of the beers on the list were out and my husband decided on water instead. This was our first time trying Taos Pizza Outback and it will be our last. It has all the hallmarks of a failing business/ disengaged owner, who jacks up prices and lowers the quality of the food in the hopes of breaking even.

First time going there and had been wanting to try it. Only two of us were there, seated ourselves and waited. The server brought us crayons, as adult customers, then disappeared for another 15 minutes. Again, it was only the two of us in the whole establishment as customers. Once the server came to take our order, we waited another 15 minutes just for the server to come back and ask a question regarding the order. Never did get our drinks after 45 minutes, we left. Plus it was over 80 degrees in there and unpleasant. It seemed that coworker conversations were more important.

Outback Pizza is a pretty good place to eat. Its pizza is pretty good but the atmosphere of the place wasn't the best but service was good and so was the food!
