Great little restaurant with the Barvarian theme...I had sampler of sausage over curry fries which was quite delicious.... I also had the Trout 🥗 but it was pretty plain Jane!!!!
You order at the bar and they bring you your food, so really no service, but the food was quick. You drive up a 2 mi gravel road for the atmosphere and the Bavarian food. The sausage/bratwursts and the sauerkraut, mustard, and German potato salad are top notch. The apple strudel is just like my German grandmother would have made. Great choices of German beer. The weather and scenery are also worth the trip. I went in Aug. 86F in Taos, 74F at the restaurant.
Great selection of German food and beverages. Really what you get here is sitting at the base of the mountain eating outside in the mountain air. This is a must-do if you're in the area
