Super pretty area, so peaceful. The Bavarian has a wonderful deck and picnic tables, great food, and beautiful German architecture mixed with mountain ambiance in Carson National Forest.
Surprisingly good food, better than it had to be. I had a brat, which was nicely smoky. My wife had the chicken schnitzel, which was nice and crispy. Also the beers on tap were great. Highly recommended, and worth the drive, even if the boys running Lift 4 don’t feel like working.
What an awesome place and at a perfect location at the bottom of lift 4! Whether winter or summer, no matter what activity stirs up an appetite, it’s easy to come straight here and get a decent meal! Better yet, by the time we ordered to when we got our food, it was maybe 15 minutes? Even if you do have to wait, there is a large drink selection of local ciders and beers, as well as non alcoholic drinks. The menu has something for everyone, and the dessert menu has variety, too!...
