The Earth Oven Reviews
What a fabulous experience. The food was exceptional - Lebanese inspired, hearty and delicious. Their meats are cooked in an outdoor oven and are juicy, tender and fabulous. Portions are enormous, and the service terrific. Baklava cheescake for dessert was a special treat!

The Earth Oven is a delightful Lebanese restaurant in Taos, offering a wide range of authentic dishes. The falafel plate, featuring falafel, fattoush salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, and a flavorful beet salad, is highly recommended. The lamb cooked in the earth oven is tender and rich in flavor, with the garlic lebneh also receiving praise. The mint lemonade with fresh mint provides a refreshing drink option. The restaurant has a cozy indoor dining area, a porch, and an outdoor picnic table area, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The owner's passion for the earth oven and the quality of the food make The Earth Oven a must-visit destination for those seeking authentic Lebanese cuisine. While the atmosphere is cozy, some find it a bit cold, as the single space heater might not be enough. Parking is available near the restaurant, with some road construction during visits, but there are free parking spots in the area. Overall, this small, intimate restaurant offers casual dining with outstanding food and friendly staff, making it a true gem in Taos.
