What a fabulous experience. The food was exceptional - Lebanese inspired, hearty and delicious. Their meats are cooked in an outdoor oven and are juicy, tender and fabulous. Portions are enormous, and the service terrific. Baklava cheescake for dessert was a special treat!

Earth Oven has some good things going, and a few that could be improved. It’s a nice spot with indoor tables plus more in a shaded courtyard with pleasant vibes. We arrived at a busy time as it took quite a while to be seated and fed, but that’s due to their popularity, no fault of theirs. Service was warm despite the rush. Once the food came, we had mixed feelings. The baba ganouj was exceptionally good. The hummus was above average. The dish simply called “tofu” on the menu, which consists of well-seasoned tofu and various garnishes served on pita, was also quite good. The sumac fries sound great as described on the menu but we found them undercooked, a bit soggy (oily and not at all crispy), and without any noticeable taste of sumac. The lentil soup was quite plain, which could be good if what you’re looking for is something very simple, but might be disappointing if you’re looking for flavor. The other disappointment is that they serve lamb, which all of us find unnecessarily cruel, even by carnivore standards.
Eating here was actually the highlight of our 2 night stay in Taos because we didn't enjoy our time at the bed and breakfast. Our lunch was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place.
Parking: We paid for parking near the Guadalupe church because we planned to walk around the Plaza but the restaurant has free parking spots. There was a ton of road constructions though during our visit, not sure how accessible the parking was here.

THIS PLACE IS EXCEPTIONAL! We got the “feast for 2” and everything was absolutely delicious. Especially the tahini cauliflower and the mushroom shawarma. Fantastic veg options 🌱 The service was so friendly and kind, they even gave us free baklava. Wish I lived in Taos so I could come more often

Had the hummus plate and lamb shwarma. A firework display of flavors. That tahini sauce could bring about world peace. The staff were so friendly and present. I wish I hadn't eaten so much so I could've tried the desserts. Oh well, next time. Don't overlook the Moroccan mint lemonade!

I am so glad we found this place. I LOVE New Mexican cuisine but decided we needed a break from it and stumbled upon this place. The food was incredible and if you have never had Lebanese food you are in for a treat! The flavors and presentation were very good. I also had a mint lemonade which I would highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian and this was her favorite meal of our trip.
