The food was amazing. The restaurant is called Maria's now.
What a wonderful place to eat and the food is so good and we keep coming back.
My family and I have eating at many places here in Taos and by far this was this best!! It was our first time but definitely not the last!
Super authentic Mexican food.Highly recommended
Great for a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner! Wonderful menu too!
We took a very large group (25+) for a late breakfast and they got us all served promptly. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I ordered chiles rellenos with beans and rice. Ordered breakfast burritos of egg and potato for the kids. All were great. We went to the one painted orange and sat outside.
After an early morning run, I was craving a Breakfast Burrito. I had run past Toribio’s South and it smelled great. Figured I would give it a shot. The interior of the building is comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The menu offers plenty of options, although a smaller breakfast menu. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Potatoes, Eggs and Bacon, smothered in Green Chile Sauce. Price was about $8. This was a major breakfast burrito. Huge. Smothered in Green Chile sauce and Cheese. Most places, you have to look for the little pieces of thin bacon. Not here! This Bacon had probably just been cooked on the flattop and the burrito was filled with big chunks. The seasoning was perfect. No salt or pepper added. And it had a really nice bite! I didn’t think I would eat the whole thing but I just couldn’t stop. I won’t eat again until tonight based on the size of this meal. If they do this tasty of a job with a simple Breakfast Burrito, I can’t wait to go back and sample more of the menu.
Great selection of food. You can't beat their weekly specials for only $10. The ladies working here are friendly and always have a smile. It makes you feel very welcomed. The food is reasonably priced and is not lacking in flavor whatsoever!
Staff was very friendly. Prices were great. Food was over the top good. I would definitely eat here every time I’m in Taos.
Asada tacos were tasty. Asada burrito with beans, rice, onion, and cilantro was delicious!. The green and red salsas were really good. Definitely going back to try some more things off the menu.

Being from out of state I expected this to be really good. I was so disappointed.
