The ribbon fries are not fries. It's on the menu as fries and described as curly fries. They are potato chips that they charge you $5 for. Bummed, won't be back.

Great food. The cheeseburger & fries here is 5 stars. Hot and tasty - a real homemade burger. Also loved the coconut tea they had - so refreshing. Very clean establishment and service was super friendly. Will return. Thank you for a great dinner for my family!

Best dining in Taos!Fantastic chicken sandwich, the person I shared lunch with had a burger that looked out of this world!Carlos, the friendly owner was out on the floor talking with customers and cleaning up after a busy lunch rush. We talked about other good restaurants in the area.

Taco bell is better than this place. It actually made me anticipate Mexican food back in ohio. Do NOT eat here. Also over charged. I will never ever go back. Pictured is a pulled pork quesadilla. Laughable. And who cut the onions for the guacamole? A drunk cousin. Come on. Do better. I'm not Hispanic at all I could do this set up better with my eyes closed. Stop the nonsense and offer some decent food.

Our experience with Trujillo's has been exceptional. The food is great. We had hamburgers on one of our visits and they were NOT pre-made patties but rather delicious, handmade, "did not look like the y were made in a mold" burgers but more like we make at home. My husband had the tamale pie just today and can't stop raving about it. We rarely miss Taco Tuesday as it is such a great deal for such delicious food. I admit to being addicted to their Ribbon Fries and can't seem to be able to go in there without ordering them. My daughter loves their variety of organic ice teas and we found out that there are flavors like Black Watermelon that are in our future.What makes Trujillo's truly exceptional, however, are the people who work there including the owner! They are friendly, remember you and you can count on great service - always. We are new to Taos, we pretty much don't go a week without a trip to their establishment and are always thrilled by the food, the welcome and the number of people who are locals supporting a great family-owned business. Highly recommend and we are committed to trying everything on the menu over time.
