Friendly staff and great bread at the store!!! The owner went off on my dog and I at the farmers market for some reason. We were a few feet away from the table, waiting in line to order, and he started yelling about my dog eating his bread.... which, we were, easily 4 feet away from the table..... so I guess he's just like that? ?♂️

We got the almond croissant and it was scrumptious!! Lots of almond flavor throughout a generous-sized croissant, with New Mexico grown pecans and almonds. Just delicious!

We walked here twice, excited to try their pastries. Each time they only had a few loaves of bread left. The second time we were careful to walk there before 10 a.m. to get a better selection. Still no dice.
Farmers' Market Booth: cinnamon rolls used to be worth $5, but now they're half the size, and utterly devoid of sweetness. I felt that those 3 or 4 pathetic nibbles drained rather than sustained me. In order to assuage the feeling of being deliberately starved in the interest of what the authorities call good health, I went to another booth and got a big fat sumptuous cream cheese frosting blueberry Danish which restored the good feeling a fine pastry should give. At Wild Leaven I've never paid so much to be so disappointed. If I wanted something "healthy," not sweet, I wouldn't have requested a cinnamon roll!
This excellent bakery has the best chai!

The wife and husband that own and operate the bakery are so sweet and warm. The hot chai is exceptional and the wife told us it is a special recipe the husband made for her. We enjoyed buttery and flakey chocolate croissants, citrus raisin cardamom scones, and red curry, all of which were perfectly balanced and easy, light eating that didn’t leave us feeling sluggish the way some breakfast foods do. 10/10 experience, support this local business!
Vegetarian options: The red curry was incredible and perfectly spiced.

Can't say much. In town for the balloons and this place was close. Line was extremely long so I can't comment on anything.
bread is great, owner is quite rude. and you have to go early/certain days of the week to get the good stuff.
