We stopped for a bite to eat, and had the best food. The chips were homemade and salsa was amazing. I liked the red because it had a little heat. The server was courteous and on top of it with our food. They even sell homemade tortillas by the package. I highly recommend this place.
Eat here for good authentic Mexican food!Birria tacos (I had mine without cheese) and consumme were perfect. Barbacoa and Carne Asade Tacos, as well as burrito, were so so good. Fresh chips and salsa were superb. I wish I lived in the area and could eat here multiple times a week. For now, I will detour to this town on any road trip through Texas.Service was wonderful and home-y.About $15 per person with tax and tip.

We have been wanting to try this place for months. We happened to be passing through Texaco this afternoon and we were hungry. We walked in and were greeted and found a table. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We got the chilaquiles, children’s plates and I got a chicken torta and al pastor tacos.
