So good!!! absolutely stop if you are in the area. best BLT I've ever had.

We were driving through on a road trip. I have never been so glad a Starbucks wasn’t available! This place was absolutely delightful!! It smelled so good and Michael was very friendly! All the vintage furniture, lighting, plants, and the signed bricks from previous visitors were so lovely!! I so wish this was local to where we live! It has a very “Central Perk” from Friends vibe! 10/10

Absolutely loved our visit to Carlson Coffee Company during our honeymoon! The owner was incredibly friendly and recommended their new sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches on homemade rolls. They were hot, hearty, and absolutely delicious! We paired them with iced americanos that were perfectly cold and bold. If you're in Tucumcari, NM, definitely stop by for great food and even better service!

If you are looking for a cool place to hang out, this is a great location. It is a quick stop off I40. They have great coffee/espresso and lots of goodies. They also have many gluten-free options to choose from.

This place was amazing! The kids got the yogurt parfaits. They make the yogurt and granola from scratch. It was so good!

We also got coffee (awesome), and a variety of pastries. Everything was delicious!!!

The owner was so kind. Next time we are in Tucumcari, we will definitely be hitting this place up again.

This bakery was across from our hotel, but I went in after I saw their reviews. Am I glad I did. Their owners are so incredibly nice and they make everything themselves. We tried several things - spinach ricotta croissant, pain au chocolat, breakfast burrito, cinnamon roll and the Chocolate Pinon coffee. We got some apple cinnamon bread to go and took a bag of coffee to go too. We loved everything! One of the highlights of our trip. Make sure to stop by! The only reason I don’t have any photos is because I was too busy enjoying the food because it smelled so good. Very reasonably priced and you can see they put a lot of thought into their selection and quality of ingredients too!

Stay at the Motel Safari, then walk across the street to this place. Get the loaded zucchini bread, and if you eat here the coffee is free. What a world.

Literally couldn't wait to write a 5 star review once I sat down. GREAT atmosphere! The names on the wall are just such a fantastic idea.
And the FOOD!?! EVERYTHING is baked/made right here by Michael Carlson and his wife (who we didn't meet, unfortunately). Michael was such a genuine fellow, and lovely to chat to.
The only downside for me personally, is that a custom plain breakfast burrito couldn't be made to meet my dietary needs - but that didn't even dent my 5 star review. I got a Greek yogurt and berry parfait that had the PERFECT amount of granola!

This will definitely be a place to stop at every single time we drive through this way in the future.

Thank you to the reviewer who said it was "better than the shifty hotel breakfast anyday" - that gave my husband a chuckle and sealed our decision to try it out.

This was great! I popped in as a stop on a road trip and was instantly impressed by the variety of options, even with dietary restrictions. Carlson and the other employee were so kind and helpful in my selection process as well. The zucchini bread was delicious!

This was a gem found while doing Route 66. It was incredibly hot, and we had a long day's drive ahead of us, and this place had great coffee and filled up our water bottles - saving us from the heat for the rest of our drive. The person working that day was incredibly kind, too!
