Al-O-Mar Restaurant Reviews
Awesome place
I was just in town visiting a friend over the weekend and he said we had to stop in to have anything with the delicious green chili sauce! I got the cheese enchiladas with an over easy egg and the green sauce on top.... it was like nothing else I’ve had! You will want to buy a bucket of it to take home! Awesome food and friendly staff for us out-of-towners!
This what a lover of freshly prepared meals looks for. Almost always I’ve found you look for the family run Mexican food , not the fancy built facade. It’s like most things , it’s what inside that counts not what the outside looks like. I drive 26 miles to eat here & love it!!! Give this place a shot, you will too!!! Maury Schuessler

Al-O-Mar Restaurant is a small family restaurant known for its hearty, delicious food. The enchiladas with green sauce are a must-try, and the green chile cheeseburgers are highly praised. Customers enjoy a variety of options without being overpriced, including catfish, roast beef, burgers, and tacos. The shakes and malts are also recommended. The service is friendly, and the staff is sweet and accommodating. Although the exterior may seem run-down, this restaurant is a hidden gem worth visiting for a tasty meal, especially for those who are hungry in the area. It offers old-school car hop service or customers can order at the window. The car hop service is available until seven PM, Monday through Friday. Although the inside service is open for breakfast and lunch, it closes at certain times. Wheelchair accessibility is available through the front door.
