Food By Kris was a pleasant surprise. We were met with friendly and understanding service. They have an extensive menu that will satisfy most. We had a large order and it was made in a timely manner, and everything was nice and hot. Such a great find in this tiny little town! Oh! And they deliver!

HUGE MENU AMAZING FOOD FRIENDLY FAST SERVICE
We were passing through town and couldn’t be happier we gave this a try. We both ordered a toasted BLT 🥪 with extra crispy bacon 🥓 and a large French fry to share. We smiled for miles and kept saying to each other.. “DELICIOUS” and “This hits the spot 100%”

I found them on Google Maps while traveling through Vaughn on the way to Carlsbad Caverns on a family trip through New Mexico, from Minnesota, visiting some of my husband's family (his daddy grew up in Vaughn). We stopped for breakfast and were a bit nervous after seeing it was only a food trailer, but were so impressed with the food that we stopped again for breakfast on our way back through town! The burritos, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, tacos, horchata, iced coffee, Arnold Palmer, and Boba drinks were absolutely delicious, the owners and employees were amazing, and they even humored us by firing up their pizza oven in the morning to make us some authentic New Mexican style pizzas to take with us to Colorado Springs to enjoy, and share with family, for supper, which I'm sure will be amazing as well! We highly recommend Food by Kris, and if we're ever through Vaughn again, you can bet we will stop by!

New Mexicans driving through Vaughn on our way home and noticed this little gem. Breakfast burritos were really good with generous servings, made fresh, and so refreshing to have good chile after visiting Texas. We definitely recommend stopping by and supporting this small business!

Absolutely love them and their food especially in a small town like this! They have saved our family for meals many times , very generous portions, so savory, different options, FLAVORED COFFEE, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the stop when driving through town.
