We had such a wonderful experience and breakfast … our waitress wasn’t only the waitress but also the cook, hostess and check-out lady … The diner is truly Americana As we travelled across America from Vermont we came to passing this diner and quickly turned around … So happy WE DID!! Food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere friendly, cozy, and entertaining … I purchased her LAST PINK “Penny’s t-shirt” she had hanging for my daughter who constantly is asked about it … Hopefully one day we will return … Thanks for the wonderful memories 🏜️

Four hours into an eight hour trip, and we pulled over in dire need of some sustenance and a break from the monotonous road. The three ladies working made us instantly at home, offering upbeat banter and delicious food that made us feel like we had been coming here our whole lives. This retro diner was everything we hoped for, we left with happy tummies and a smile on our face. Thank you ladies!

My reading is based on the fact that Penny's is in the middle of nowhere and there's not a lot of other options for food other than gas stations. They are already always really friendly and they do their best to get the food out quickly even though it's not fast food. Not a bad place to stop if you want to sit down meal and you're stuck in Vaughn for whatever reason.
